When can I book Porter flights through British Airways?

Bookings have been open since June 24, 2026 on ba.com. The first flights operated under this agreement begin on July 8, 2026.

Can I earn Avios on a Porter flight booked via ba.com?

Yes, provided your ticket shows a BAXXXX flight number and you are a British Airways Executive Club member. Tier points are also earned.

Can I use my VIPorter points to book a BA flight via this codeshare?

No. The codeshare does not allow point exchanges between VIPorter and Avios. It is an operational partnership, not a reciprocal loyalty agreement.

Does this codeshare replace the BA-WestJet agreement?

No. The two agreements coexist. British Airways maintains its partnership with WestJet and now adds Porter as a second Canadian regional carrier in its network.

Can I book a Porter domestic flight on its own on ba.com?

No. The codeshare applies only to itineraries that include a British Airways transatlantic flight to or from London. A Porter Toronto-Ottawa ticket booked on its own cannot be issued under a BA flight number.
