ALL Accor+ Explorer at US$255: Worth It for Canadians?

The ALL Accor+ Explorer membership fee has been US$255 per year in Canada since October 1, 2026. The 15% discount alone pays it back once you spend US$1,700 on Accor stays per year.

ALL Accor+ Explorer pricing in Canada

Since October 1, 2026, you pay US$255 per year, up from US$249. Canada saw the smallest increase of every market involved: US$6, or 2.4%. Accor Plus publishes no separate Canadian price list: the country falls under the “Rest of the World” category, billed in US dollars.

According to the Accor Plus help centre, the increase targets the Explorer tier. The Voyager and ibis tiers are still listed at €179 and €99 per year on Accor’s site.

3,000 bonus points through October 31, 2026

Accor is giving 3,000 Reward points (worth about US$65) when you buy an ALL Accor+ Explorer membership between October 1 and October 31, 2026. Canadian residents are eligible.

Who qualifies: first-time Explorer members, and former members whose membership expired before October 1, 2026.
Who doesn't: memberships obtained through a corporate partnership, an employee program, a friends and family rate, a giveaway or a contest, and members already due Reward points as part of their renewal.
Deadline: October 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Australian Eastern Daylight Time, which is 8:59 a.m. in Toronto and Montreal. Don't wait until the evening of the 31st.
When the points post: within 30 days after the offer ends.

One bonus per purchase, and it can't be combined with another promotion.

Current members: US$249 for one more year

Already a member, with auto-renewal on as of September 30, 2026? Your next membership year then stays at US$249, as long as auto-renewal stays on through the payment date. You will find the setting in your membership account.

Turning auto-renewal off

The setting switches off as easily as it switches on, from your membership account. Accor Plus asks that you do it no later than 2 business days before your payment date. Past that point, the next year is charged.

Cancelling the membership itself stays possible at any time, in writing or by phone. After the first 10 business days, however, the fee already paid is not refunded, including for a change of mind.

ALL Accor+ gathers Accor’s regional subscription programs under a single global brand, including Accor Plus in Asia-Pacific and ALL Signature in Brazil. It all plugs into the existing ALL Accor loyalty program, which remains free.

Every tier covers Accor’s portfolio of more than 4,500 hotels and its 30-odd brands. Only one, the Explorer tier, sells in US dollars from Canada.

ALL Accor+ Explorer (US$255/year)

Explorer is the most complete tier in the lineup, and the one whose Canadian price is published in US dollars. It costs US$255 per year, or 14,000 Reward points. Its benefits:

Voyager applies its discount worldwide, with no regional concentration. Accor prices it at €179 per year, taxes included, or €14.92 monthly.

ALL Signature (Brazil)

ALL Signature stays limited to the Brazilian market. The formula deposits Reward points and Status points every month, on top of benefits with partners across South America. It therefore suits travellers based in the region.

Making the subscription pay off from Canada

The 15% discount alone covers the membership fee, provided you stay with Accor often enough. At the US$255 rate, the threshold sits at US$1,700 in Accor stays per year. The free nights and dining discounts then stack on top of that.

The bill arrives in US dollars

One detail changes the maths for a Canadian subscriber: Accor Plus bills the Explorer tier in US dollars. Most Canadian credit cards therefore add a 2.5% foreign transaction fee. That pushes the real cost close to US$261, and the break-even point to about US$1,740 in stays.

A card with no foreign transaction fees wipes out that cut. The Scotiabank Passport^® Visa Infinite +* Card is the Canadian benchmark on this front.

Offer eligibility and exclusions: You cannot take advantage of the offer if you are currently a primary or secondary cardholder of a Scotiabank personal credit card or have been one in the past two years, including if you transfer your balance from an existing Scotiabank personal credit card account, and if you are a Scotiabank employee. Paying in points costs more

Accor accepts 14,000 Reward points instead of the fee. The option looks convenient, yet it costs you more: Reward points redeem at a fixed value, 1,000 points for €20 on any stay. Your 14,000 points are therefore worth €280 in hotel nights, more than the US$255 asked for the membership.

How it fits the ALL Accor program

The subscription complements the free loyalty program, it does not replace it. The Status Nights credited each year speed up your climb through the ALL Accor tiers. Here are the program thresholds:

Platinum: 60 nights or 14,000 Status points

Explorer’s 30 Status Nights therefore guarantee ALL Accor Gold status from the moment you join. Voyager covers two thirds of the way there, while ibis secures Silver status.

ALL Accor+: who the subscription pays off for

The answer depends on your stays, not on the calendar. Membership pays off if:

You spend US$1,700 or more: on Accor stays each year, which repays the fee through the 15% discount alone
You travel through Asia-Pacific: the free nights, Red Hot Rooms and 30% dining discount concentrate there
You want Gold status: the 30 Status Nights grant it immediately, without stacking up 30 real nights

An occasional Accor guest, on the other hand, does perfectly well with the free program, which already gives the member rate and points accrual. In that case, the subscription adds a fixed cost without enough in return.

Are the Voyager and ibis tiers going up too?

No, the October 1, 2026 increase targeted the Explorer tier. Voyager is still listed at €179 per year and ibis at €99, taxes included. Both tiers are sold in euros and their benefits apply worldwide.

Can I subscribe while living in Canada?

Yes. The Explorer tier sells to Canadian residents at the “Rest of the World” rate, in US dollars. The worldwide benefits, including the 15% discount and the 30 Status Nights, apply everywhere. The free nights and dining discounts stay limited to Asia-Pacific and the UAE.

Do I need the subscription to reach elite status?

No. The ALL Accor loyalty program remains free and grants status based on the nights or Status points you accumulate. The subscription simply speeds up that climb through Status Nights credited upfront.

How do the two free nights work?

The principle is one night on the house for one night paid. You book a stay of at least 2 nights at one of the 1,400 participating hotels in Asia-Pacific or the UAE, and one night comes free. The benefit returns twice per membership year.
