From American Express Membership Rewards
Since July 2026, American Express Membership Rewards points transfer to ALL Accor. That means you can chain Membership Rewards points into Reward points, then into airline miles.
In most cases, that detour is expensive. Accor’s usual airline ratio is 2,000 Reward points for 1,000 miles. Combined with the 2-to-1 ratio from American Express, 1,000 Membership Rewards points end up as just 250 miles. Going through Marriott Bonvoy instead, the same 1,000 Membership Rewards points become 1,200 Bonvoy points, then 400 miles at the 3-to-1 ratio, and more thanks to the 5,000-mile bonus on every 60,000 points transferred. Marriott remains the better route to airline miles.
The exception is Qantas Frequent Flyer. Accor converts 2,000 Reward points into 2,500 Qantas points, an enhanced ratio. As a result, 1,000 Membership Rewards points become 625 Qantas points through ALL Accor, versus 400 through Marriott Bonvoy. With the American Express Cobalt Card and its 5 points per dollar on groceries and dining, that works out to as much as 3.125 Qantas points per dollar spent.
ALL Accor also unlocks airline programs that neither Marriott Bonvoy nor Hilton Honors offers:
- Air Europa SUMA
- Gulf Air Falconflyer
- IndiGo BluChip
- Juneyao Air Club
- Kenya Airways Asante Rewards
- Vietnam Airlines Lotusmiles
None of these carriers flies to Canada non-stop, so the value is mostly regional. One is worth keeping an eye on: Air Europa belongs to SkyTeam, and its SUMA miles can be redeemed on Air France and KLM flights.

Frequently Asked Questions about Accor Live Limitless (ALL)
Here are the most frequently asked questions from the Milesopedia community about Accor Live Limitless (ALL), its elite statuses, the ALL+ subscription, and its 50 hotel brands worldwide.
What hotel brands are part of the Accor ALL program?
The Accor Live Limitless (ALL) program covers about 50 brands across four segments:
- Luxury: Raffles, Fairmont, Banyan Tree, Sofitel Legend, Orient Express
- Premium: Sofitel, Pullman, Swissôtel, MGallery, SLS
- Mid-scale: Novotel, Mercure, Adagio, Ibis Styles
- Economy: Ibis, Ibis Budget, Greet, hotelF1
In total, more than 5,600 hotels in 110 countries are bookable from a single ALL account. It is one of the broadest hotel programs in the world, with an especially strong footprint in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
How does the Accor ALL points-to-euros conversion work?
The conversion rate is simple and fixed: 2,000 Accor points = €40 off (about $60 CAD). That works out to roughly 2 cents of value per point, one of the most predictable conversion rates in the hotel industry.
Points are redeemed in 2,000-point increments on any night, at any brand, with no blackout dates. You can pay for the entire night with points or just a portion, charging the balance to your credit card. This flexibility sets ALL apart from more rigid programs like Hilton Honors or Marriott Bonvoy.
What are the Accor ALL elite tiers and their benefits?
The program has four elite status tiers, qualified through annual nights or eligible spend:
- Silver: 10 nights or €800 in spend
- Gold: 30 nights or €2,800 (room upgrade, VIP welcome)
- Platinum: 60 nights or €5,600 (lounge access, free breakfast)
- Diamond: €10,400 in spend (suite upgrade subject to availability, 24/7 concierge)
Gold tier and above earn a 25% to 100% bonus on every stay, plus subject-to-availability room upgrades. Status is reset and re-earned every calendar year.
Is the ALL+ subscription worth it?
The ALL+ Voyageur subscription costs €199 per year and includes:
- 10% discount on most Accor brands (15% on mid-scale, 20% on luxury and premium)
- 20 bonus qualifying nights (you start the year already 20 nights into status)
- Room availability guarantee
- Priority customer service
For travellers who spend at least €1,500 per year with Accor, the membership generally pays for itself through the discount alone. Stacking ALL+ on top of Gold status can fast-track your run to Platinum thanks to the 20-night head start.
Can I transfer Canadian credit card points to Accor ALL?
Yes, since July 2026. American Express Membership Rewards points transfer to ALL Accor at a ratio of 1,000 Membership Rewards points for 500 Reward points, in increments of 100 points and with a 1,000-point minimum. Other Canadian programs such as Aeroplan and RBC Avion still do not have a transfer partnership with Accor.
To grow your ALL balance further, your other moves are:
- Book directly on all.com instead of through OTAs
- Pay with a no-FX-fee card such as the Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite +* Card to avoid the 2.5% foreign transaction surcharge
- Watch for seasonal promos (typically 2,000 bonus points after 2 nights)
How can I reach Accor Platinum or Diamond status faster?
Several levers can accelerate your progression:
- Combine a stay with a long event (a one-week conference is 7 qualifying nights)
- Take advantage of Status Match from Hilton Honors, Marriott Bonvoy or IHG One Rewards — Accor often grants the equivalent tier as a promotion
- Subscribe to ALL+ Voyageur to start the year already at 20 nights
- Pool your family bookings on a single account (on a group trip, one member can credit every night)
Diamond status remains one of the toughest to earn in the hotel industry, requiring €10,400 in annual spend, but it delivers benefits on par with Bonvoy Ambassador Elite.
