How to Earn and Use ALL Accor Reward Points as a Canadian

The simplest way to use ALL Accor points as a Canadian is to transfer American Express Membership Rewards points at a 2:1 ratio, then redeem them at a fixed rate of 1,000 points for 20 euros against any stay. There is no Accor credit card in this country and no award chart to learn, which makes it one of the easiest hotel programs to actually use.

ALL Accor is one of these programs, representing the Accor Hotel Group and its 50+ hotel brands around the world. While not the most well-known program in Canada, ALL Accor is aiming to change that with expanding partnerships, including with American Express Canada, making it easier to earn Reward points, and making the program considerably more accessible to Canadians.

Earn ALL Accor Rewards Points

Although there are no co-branded credit cards in Canada for ALL Accor (Marriott Bonvoy is the only hotel loyalty program in the country with co-branded credit cards), you can still earn Reward points a number of different ways, including:

Why there is no Accor card in Canada

A hotel co-brand only works where the chain has enough properties for everyday spending to feel connected to a reward the cardholder can actually picture using. Marriott Bonvoy clears that bar in Canada with hundreds of hotels. Accor does not, and no issuer will underwrite a card against a footprint that narrow.

The consequence is the most useful thing to understand about this program as a Canadian: you cannot earn Accor points on your everyday spending. No card in the country does it, and the merchant partners that pay Reward points are almost all European.

That leaves the Membership Rewards transfer as the only realistic way to build a balance from here. In practice, your Accor strategy is an American Express strategy.

Transfer Membership Rewards points

Since there’s no ALL Accor credit card in Canada, the best option for Canadians looking to build up their account balance is to transfer points from their American Express Membership Rewards (MR) account. MR points can be transferred at a rate of 1,000 MR Points = 500 ALL Accor Reward points (with a 1,000 point minimum transfer).

This option is the most accessible for Canadians because earning MR points is relatively easy thanks to American Express’ many Membership Rewards credit card options. For example, the American Express Cobalt^® Card is a fan-favourite, earning up to 5 points per $1 spent.

The American Express Platinum Card^® is also a great choice since it not only earns MR points on all purchases, but it also comes with loads of perks and benefits. In fact, this card will introduce complimentary ALL Accor Gold status to its list of perks at some point in the second half of 2026 (we’ll update you once the launch date is confirmed!).

It’s also important to note that MR points are also transferable to Marriott Bonvoy and Hilton Honors, and to the following 4 airline loyalty programs: Aeroplan, Flying Blue, British Airways Club, and Delta Skymiles. While the most valuable MR point transfers tend to be to the airline programs, ultimately it’s a personal decision where the best value lies.

Earn and Transfer with Flying Blue using Miles+Points

ALL Accor is partnered with Flying Blue, the loyalty program for Air France and KLM. As part of this partnership, they’ve created the Miles+Points program that lets you earn with both programs at the same time and transfer reward balances between the programs.

Canadians can earn Flying Blue points with the Air France KLM World Elite MasterCard^® or by flying with Air France, KLM, and other SkyTeam and partnered airlines. You can also transfer American Express Membership Rewards points to Flying Blue at a rate of 1,000 MR points = 1,000 Flying Blue miles. However, you would not want to transfer from MR points to Flying Blue and then to ALL Accor since this will lose you value unnecessarily; instead, it’s best to just transfer MR points directly to your ALL Accor account.

Also, keep in mind that transferring from the above programs generally isn’t the most valuable use of these airline loyalty rewards (regardless of the program). However, if you have no plans to fly with the airline or its partners, moving your rewards to ALL Accor does give you the benefit of guaranteed value to lower the cost of your next hotel stay.

Given that ALL Accor is a hotel loyalty program, it’s no surprise that one of the best ways to earn points is by staying at participating hotel and resort properties. ALL Accor in Canada: Small but Iconic

American and British writers tend to dismiss Accor as thin in North America. On a pure property count they have a point. On what those properties actually are, they are wrong, and Canadian travellers are the ones who benefit from the difference.

So the honest read for a Canadian is not that Accor is a small program. It is that Accor is a narrow program with an unusually good top end, and that the top end sits at home.

You can easily use your Reward points for your next stay by redeeming them during the booking process, by calling customer service, or by speaking to the staff at the hotel’s reception desk.

For ALL Accor members with no plans to stay in a hotel or fly, there are a couple more ways to redeem your Reward points.

With ALL Accor Limitless Experiences, you can exchange your points for concerts, sports events, culinary experiences, and more through sales and auctions. The value you can get depends on the event in question, and you can find a full listing of what’s available on the Limitless Experiences website.

You can also redeem your Reward points for activities and experiences in popular cities around the world. This includes things like museum entrance fees, guided tours, cooking classes, and more. These redemption are easily access via the ALL Accor website.

How to Use ALL Accor Points Wisely

Holding on to ALL Accor Reward points earns you nothing. Because they carry a fixed value of 1,000 points = 20 euros, a point is worth exactly the same today as it will be in two years. There is no interest, no bonus for patience, and no aspirational redemption to save toward.

This is the opposite of the advice we give for almost every other program. With Aeroplan or Marriott Bonvoy, the whole game is finding the sweet spot: the award seat or the hotel night that returns far more than the average. Saving up makes sense there, because one big redemption pays better than several small ones.

ALL Accor has no sweet spot. A suite at Raffles and a room at ibis return the same value per point. A balance of 100,000 Reward points is worth 2,000 euros whether you spend it on a single night or spread it across ten stays.

That second rule matters more than it looks. Membership Rewards points can go to Aeroplan, Flying Blue, British Airways Club, Delta SkyMiles, Marriott Bonvoy and Hilton Honors as well. Once they become Accor points, that optionality is gone and the value is locked at 20 euros per 1,000.

Although ALL Accor has not been the most accessible program in Canada given its smaller property portfolio and lack co-branded credit card, the introduction of the American Express MR point transfer option in mid-2026 makes the program considerably more attractive.
