20x the points from October 9 to 11
Until October 11 at 11:59 p.m. (ET), you earn 20 times the Blue points on your purchases with partners, as long as you activate the offer in the app or in your account. The bonus is capped at 8,000 points per member number, which is a little over $50 in rewards at the rate of 1,500 points for $10.
Only your base points are multiplied, and four ways of earning count:
- In store: your base points at participating partners, when you show your Blue Rewards card at checkout. IHG and United Van Lines are excluded.
- Blue Rewards Shops: your base points on online purchases, as long as you sign in before you shop. Travel retailers, Instacart, Wealthsimple, Telus and music or video subscriptions are excluded.
- Blue Rewards Travel: bookings paid by credit card, or by card and points. A booking paid entirely with points does not count.
- Card-linked offers: points earned with a card linked to your Blue Rewards account.
If you hold a BMO Blue Rewards credit card, we recommend paying for at least one eligible purchase with it: you get 800 bonus points on top of the multiplier, once. All it takes is $2 spent on the no-fee card, or $1 on the World Elite.
Welcome offer: up to 100,000 points on BMO Blue Rewards cards
The BMO Blue Rewards World Elite Mastercard offers up to 100,000 bonus Blue points to new cardholders, with the first year with no annual fee. The offer is valid for all applications received by October 31, 2026.
Unlike a lump-sum bonus, this one is unlocked in spending tiers during the first year:
- 45,000 points after $5,000 in purchases within the first 110 days of account opening
- 20,000 points after $10,000 in purchases within the first 180 days
- 35,000 points after $20,000 in purchases within the first 365 days
Other current promotions
Several other Blue Rewards offers are currently active. Here are the ones you don’t want to miss.
- 20x the points from October 9 to 11: activate the offer in your account, up to 8,000 bonus points (full details above).
- Dollarama partnership: earn Blue points on in-store purchases at Dollarama.
- SMEG contest: 2 prize packs worth over $4,500 each, enter by redeeming 315 points, until November 1, 2026.
- Thanksgiving: up to 25% fewer points on a selection of kitchen items (Le Creuset, All-Clad) and Nespresso machines, until October 12, 2026.

Accor hotels and Instacart: bonus points with your card
Several partners award bonus points when you pay with a card linked to your Blue Rewards account: a Mastercard issued in Canada, or an eligible BMO credit or debit card.
- Fairmont and Sofitel: 12,000 bonus points for $1,000 spent on site, in Canada and the United States
- Rimrock (Canada) and Raffles (United States): 12,000 bonus points for $1,000 spent on site
- Novotel (Canada): 6,000 bonus points for $500 spent on site
- Instacart: 1,500 bonus points for $75 in online or in-app purchases, until May 31, 2027
The hotel offers are valid until December 31, 2026, with a limit of one offer per day per member number. Only purchases made in person at the hotel, in a single transaction, count: online bookings, advance reservations and prepaid stays are excluded. At Instacart, the offer is limited to once per member number during the offer period.
Porter flights: up to 7,500 bonus points
From August 17 to November 30, 2026, Blue Rewards awards bonus points when you pay for a Porter Airlines-operated flight entirely with points on Blue Rewards Travel. The bonus depends on the base fare, before taxes and fees:
- Up to $350: 1,000 bonus points
- $351 to $450: 3,750 bonus points
- $451 and up: 7,500 bonus points
Only one bonus applies per flight, but you can use the offer more than once during the period. Codeshare flights, flights paid with cash or a mix of cash and points, and bookings made on Porter's website are not eligible. Allow up to 60 days after travel for the points to post. Travel redemptions: up to 40% of points back (Gold and Onyx members)
Blue Rewards members with Gold or Onyx status get part of their points back when they redeem for travel booked on Blue Rewards Travel. The offer requires enrolment, so opt in before you book. It appears in your member account, and its terms may vary from one account to another.
- Gold status: 30% of redeemed points back, up to 7,200 points
- Onyx status: 40% of redeemed points back, up to 10,300 points
- Redemption: by October 10, 2026
- Travel: completed by November 1, 2026
- Exclusion: cruises
The cap comes quickly: redeeming 24,000 points at Gold status, or 25,750 points at Onyx status, is enough to earn the maximum rebate. Points redeemed beyond that earn nothing extra, so a car rental or a hotel stay in that price range is the simplest way to use this offer.
Pharmasave: in-store earning
As of June 2, 2026, the AIR MILES program at Pharmasave switched to Blue Rewards. More than 800 participating Pharmasave locations now let you earn Blue points on eligible health, wellness, personal care, and household purchases.
The base rate is 16 Blue points for every $10 spent in-store (minimum purchase of $10 before taxes). BMO Blue Rewards credit cardholders earn 10x the points, i.e., 160 points per $10. Excluded from eligible purchases are prescription drugs (except in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Nova Scotia), alcohol, tobacco, gift cards, and lottery tickets.
Bonus points from card-linked offers can take up to 120 days to be credited to your account. Remember to keep your receipts in case of any discrepancy.

Yes. The BMO Blue Rewards World Elite Mastercard has no annual fee for the first year.

Do you need a BMO Blue Rewards card to participate?
No. Any Blue Rewards member can take advantage of current promotions. A BMO Blue Rewards credit card does, however, speed up points earning and unlock additional bonuses reserved for cardholders.
Where can I check the value of Blue Rewards points?

How do I get 12,000 bonus points at an Accor hotel?
Link a Mastercard issued in Canada or an eligible BMO card to your Blue Rewards account and opt in to the offer. Then spend at least $1,000 in a single transaction on site at a Fairmont or Sofitel in Canada or the United States, a Rimrock in Canada or a Raffles in the United States, by December 31, 2026. Online bookings and prepaid stays do not count.
How does the Porter flight offer work?
