A 10%, 20%, or 30% discount is available on nearly 100 of Iberia’s popular routes, including its new non-stop Toronto (YYZ) – Madrid (MAD) offering that launches in June 2026.
The discount award fares include both economy and business class, and are available for travel that occurs on or before September 15, 2026. Bookings must be made by May 10, 2026, to qualify for the promotion.

Iberia Club is offering a limited-time tiered discount on select award flights to and from Madrid, setting up a welcome way to save ahead of the busy summer travel season.
To take advantage of this promotion, you need to book your Iberia award flight by May 10, 2026, for travel that takes place on or before September 15, 2026.

Note that, at the 30% discount tier, all the routes are for intra-European travel (except Casablanca), while the 20% and 10% discount tiers reach North America, Central America, the Caribbean, South America, and North Africa.
This limited-time Iberia Club promotion focuses the majority of its biggest savings on intra-European routes, but it also showcases many intriguing destinations outside of Europe, such as:
Canadians interested in an accessible European vacation this summer can enjoy Iberia’s new non-stop route between Madrid (MAD) and Toronto (YYZ) starting in June 2026.
This new route is part of the current promotion, offering Iberia Club members a savings of 20% off economy class award fares and 10% off business class award fares.
Iberia’s network of destinations can also connect you with the most popular cities across the European continent, with many of these routes also discounted until May 10, 2026.
If you were looking to head to Spain or anywhere else in Europe this summer, and you have access to the needed Avios, this promotion is definitely worth a close look.
Using the example of the one available Canadian route, we see that a one-way Toronto–Madrid economy award ticket typically starts at 16,000 Avios at the Saver lever. With the 20% discount, that brings the cost down to as low as 12,800 Avios if you can find availability.
Additionally, the Toronto–Madrid route is serviced by the airline’s new A321XLR, which includes 14 lie-flat seats in business class. Business class award tickets on this route start at just 40,500 Avios. That means that with the 10% discount, you could luxuriate in your trans-Atlantic, lie-flat seat for only 36,450 Avios one-way.
That said, given how popular Europe is as a summer destination, these Saver-level fares will be nearly impossible to find. However, that doesn’t mean that the savings aren’t still worth exploring.
In fact, in our search, we only found a couple of Saver-level prices for economy class in September and none in business class.
However, we were able to find many available dates that offered one-way award fares in economy class for only 15,600 Avios…
…and there are one-way business class awards available for as low as 53,100 Avios.

Iberia Club is part of the Avios family of airline loyalty programs, which includes British Airways Club, Aer Lingus AerClub, Qatar Airways Privilege Club, Finnair Plus, Vueling Club, and Loganair Loyalty.
Thanks to the Avios program’s multiple transfer partners and the transferrability of Avios between the different airline programs, it’s actually not very difficult to build up your Avios account balance with Iberia or the other member airlines.

One of the best and fastest ways for Canadians to earn Avios is with the RBC British Airways Visa Infinite, since it’s the only credit card in Canada that earns Avios directly.
The card lets you earn up to 3 Avios per $1 spent on your purchases, and it typically comes with a healthy welcome offer that is often enough to get you a free round-trip economy flight between Canada and Europe.
Additionally, the British Airways Club Avios that you earn with the RBC British Airways Visa Infinite can easily be transferred to Iberia Club Avios (and other Avios programs) by linking your accounts and requesting to move some or all of your account balance.
The Avios family of airline loyalty programs is a great way to access valuable redemptions like this Iberia promotion and Qatar Airways QSuites. Just keep in mind that transferring Avios between programs is usually instantaneous; however, it does occasionally take a couple of days, so plan accordingly if you’re planning to take advantage of this promotion.
Another fantastic way to build up your Avios balance is by transferring RBC Avion points earned with one of RBC’s Avion-branded credit cards.
RBC Avion points can be transferred to British Airways Club Avios at a rate of 1:1. Once they’re in your British Airways Club account, you can then transfer them onward to Iberia Club or the other Avios programs.
There are also occasionally transfer bonuses available that can give you up to 30% more Avios, so keep your eyes open for these opportunities to maximize your redemption value.
