A shuttle service, line 747, is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There are two main places to take it: the bus terminal near Berri UQAM metro or Lionel-Groulx metro.

The bus ride costs $11 (have the exact amount in change), is free for those under 11, and can take anywhere from 25 to 70 minutes.

You can also use a cab or Uber to get to the airport.

Once at the departure level, you will be able to check-in (if not already done) with or without luggage and will be able to access one of the three areas after passing through security:

• Domestic flights within Canada – Gates 1-6 (Checkpoint A),
• international flights – Gates 1 to 6 (checkpoint A),
• and flights to the United States – Located at terminal end, gates 7 to 12 (checkpoint C).

For those who would like to observe the planes taking off or landing, an area has been set up in Jacques-de-Lesseps Park.

The services are currently slowed down with the resumption of flights; plan to arrive at least 3 hours before your flight.

You can carry your liquids, aerosols or gels with you if they are in a transparent, re-sealable plastic bag with a maximum capacity of 1 litre. Any container larger than 100 ml/100 g will be discarded.

If you need to park at YUL airport, there are several options:

• the Proxi parking lot (covered and secured), facing the airport,
• the indoor parking lot of the Montreal Airport Marriott In-Terminal hotel,
• the EconoParc P5 parking lot, which is located behind the Proxi with free shuttle service,
• the CellParc to wait for someone for free.
