Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ credit cards are among the best in the Canadian market. They offer strong welcome bonuses, an impressive range of earning opportunities, and a variety of reward types. This diversity of options makes it easy for pretty much everyone to find a card that suits their spending style and earning priorities.
The Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ families of cards also offer their cardholders many notable benefits, including savings at gas stations, free travel insurance, and complimentary airport lounge access (and more!).
Also included in the benefits package for every single Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ in Canada is a valuable add-on called “Visa Infinite Benefits”, but what exactly are these benefits, and how do you access them?
In this guide, we’ll go over each of the perks that come with the Visa Infinite Benefits package, including what they are and how to take advantage of these offerings.
The portfolio of Canadian Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ credit cards represents mid-tier premium options. They typically have an annual fee between $120 and $150 (which is sometimes waived for the first year) and a minimum income requirement of $60,000 individual and $100,000 household (though this will depend on the specific card).
Most of Canada’s major banks offer at least one Visa Infinite option. In some cases, the financial institution will give you the choice of multiple options, each earning a different type of reward. These rewards range from cash back to airline programs like Aeroplan and British Airways Avios to travel-focused programs like CIBC’s Aventura and RBC’s Avion to all-around lifestyle options like TD Rewards and Scotiabank’s Scene+.
Above the Visa Infinite tier, there’s also the even-more-premium Visa Infinite Privilege level. These cards offer increased benefits, often including annual credits, airport lounge access, and levelled-up versions of perks available with their Visa Infinite siblings.
Each Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ card also comes with its own set of perks that the issuing bank sets, plus an always-included array of benefits listed under “Visa Infinite Benefits” (as you can see on the TD First Class Travel® Visa Infinite* Card website in the image below.)
In the sections below, we’ll go over what the Visa Infinite Benefits package includes and how you can access each perk.
The following are the most popular Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ cards available in Canada:
There are also Visa Infinite cards available with some local credit unions and other Canadian banks like Manulife Bank, Meridian, and Vancity.
Each of the above cards gives cardholders access to the following Visa Infinite Benefits:
The first perk that you can enjoy with your Visa Infinite or Visa Infinite+ card is access to a Visa Infinite Concierge, which gives you a complimentary personal assistance on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The concierge service is a helpful resource that you can use to get personalized information and referrals on things like travel, dining, entertainment, and more. By calling the concierge, you can get someone to help you book a restaurant, plan an itinerary for your week in Paris, call your Airbnb host in Morocco who doesn’t speak your language, and so much more.
In Visa’s words, the concierge feature is designed to support you with any request, “big or small, to help you get the most out of life whenever you travel, shop and use your card.”
To give you an idea of the range of ways you can use your Visa Concierge, here are some examples of what they can help you with:
We’ve also heard of people using their concierge to call garages to price a car repair, to find a good place for a haircut in a new city, or to locate a bike shop that rents bicycles so you can pedal around a city you’re visiting.
As you can tell, this Visa Infinite benefit can be helpful in a lot of ways, and you may find that it becomes an invaluable resource both when you travel and at home.
You can reach your Visa Infinite Concierge toll-free by telephone at 1-888-853-4458.
The next Visa Infinite benefit is actually 7 exclusive benefits that you can enjoy when you book an eligible hotel stay through the Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection website and use your Visa Infinite or Visa Infinite+ credit card to pay.
The Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection includes over 900 of the world’s most captivating, diverse, and prestigious properties. The offerings are also hand-selected and regularly assessed to ensure they meet the high standard of the program, and Visa adds new properties frequently.
Properties of all types and sizes are part of the portfolio, from smaller boutique hotels that capture local culture and charm (many of which are part of Hilton’s Small Luxury Hotels portfolio) all the way up to world-famous hotel brands like Park Hyatt, Waldorf Astoria, and Mandarin Oriental.
The 7 exclusive benefits that you can enjoy thanks to your eligible Visa Infinite or Visa Infinite+ card are:
In order to be eligible for these 7 perks, you must use an eligible Visa Infinite or Visa Infinite+ card to book and pay for your entire stay and must make your reservation either on a Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection website or through your Visa Concierge.
Whether you’re booking one of the only 52 spectacular rooms at the Banyan Tree Higashiyama Kyoto or a family stay at the Intercontinental in Lisbon, booking through the Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection website or the Visa Infinite concierge is a great way to amp up the value and luxury during your stay.
In addition to taking advantage of the 7 benefits available with the Visa Infinite Luxury Hotel Collection, there are a couple of other rewards and savings opportunities worth noting.
First, if you have the option, we recommend making your reservation using a Visa Infinite/Visa Infinite+ card that offers a good earning rate on hotels/accommodations. For example, the TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite* Card earns 2 TD Rewards points per $1 spent on hotels, and the RBC Avion Visa Infinite earns 1.25 Avion points per $1 spent.
If you’re travelling outside of Canada, it could also be beneficial to spend on a card that doesn’t charge the usual 2.5% foreign transaction (FX) fee like most cards. The Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite +* Card is our top pick here as it not only doesn’t charge this fee, but it also gives you perks like free airport lounge access and comprehensive travel insurance coverage.
Keep in mind that you can also earn hotel loyalty rewards when you stay at eligible properties. The Visa Hotel Luxury Collection includes properties within the World of Hyatt program, the Hilton Honors program, and the Leading Hotels of the World’s Leader Club program.
Visa Destinations, the next benefit on the list, is essentially a repository of curated ways that you can use your eligible credit card to access discounts, special deals, and unique experiences in destinations around the world.
The Visa Destinations website features selected cities across the globe. There are currently 9 destinations included as part of this feature: 7 cities and 2 countries: Paris, Dubai, London, Mexico City, Miami, San Francisco, Italy, and Thailand.
You can easily explore the available deals and experiences by searching either by destination or using the included categories like culture, dining, shopping, travel, entertainment, and wellness. When you find a perk that you’d like to use, just follow the instructions that come with it to redeem the deal.
To get a sense of what’s available, here are some of the current offerings that Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ cardholders can enjoy in Paris:
Details, including prices and available dates, on each are available on the website. Offerings change often and can fill up, so book early if you’re interested and check back often to see what’s new and exciting.
If you’re headed abroad, you may want to consider a good travel credit card that doesn’t incur the usual 2.5% FX fees that most other Canadian cards charge.
As we mentioned in the section above, the strongest choice for these savings is the Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite +* Card, which not only doesn’t charge FX fees but also comes with an array of travel perks and earns valuable Scene+ points that you can redeem to help cover the cost of your trip.
Through the Visa Infinite Dining Series, eligible Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ cardholders get exclusive access to food and drink events across Canada. The program splits into the original Dining Series and Special Events, inviting cardholders to explore incredible culinary opportunities that change for each season.
To let cardholders know what events are coming up, the Visa Infinite Dining Series program releases a brochure each season (Spring/Summer/Fall/Winter) that lists the available dining experiences. These experiences feature highly sought-after restaurants, famous visiting chefs, and unique food and drink partnerships that you can access for only one or two nights with an eligible Visa credit card.
In the past, events have included:
As you can see, the prices for the Visa Infinite Dining Series events can range from an approachable $85/person to a more lavish $945/person. You can expect this price range to be similar in each season, though the participating restaurants and chefs will change.
You can book events on the Visa Infinite Dining Series website with your eligible Visa Infinite or Visa Infinite+ credit card. Just act quickly when the new experiences are announced, as seating is limited and these events consistently sell out.
When making a reservation for one of these delicious events, we recommend using a card that has a high category earning rate on food and drink expenses, such as the BMO eclipse Visa Infinite* Card, which earns 5 BMO Rewards points per $1 spent in this category, and the TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite* Card, which earns 6 TD Rewards points per $1 spent.
Do you enjoy a glass of wine or two? How about exploring the beautiful wine-making regions of Canada and the US? If yes, you’ll likely enjoy the next benefit, the Visa Infinite Wine Country Program.
With this perk, you can use your eligible Visa Infinite or Visa Infinite+ card to experience exclusive benefits at over 95 participating wineries. Depending on the location, the benefits may include complimentary wine tastings, private vineyard tours, discounts on wine purchases, and more.
Using your eligible credit card, you can enjoy perks with wineries in the Okanagan Valley in BC, the Niagara Region and Prince Edward County in Ontario, and Sonoma Valley in California.
To help you navigate the many wineries and benefits, each year, Visa puts out a document listing all the locations and perks available at each. Depending on which winery you’re visiting or ordering from, the perks may include a selection of the following:
For example, a wine tasting at Pelee Island Winery in Ontario costs $20, so with the 2-for-1 benefit, you’ll have an extra $20 leftover to take your favourite bottle home. In BC, you could head to Sandhill Wines in Kelowna and enjoy a complimentary signature tasting for two, saving you $32.
Accessing these benefits and discounts varies with each location, though nearly all the tastings and tours require that you make a reservation with the winery ahead of time and for your eligible credit card to be presented at the property. You can also usually access any online discounts and free shipping opportunities with a promo code.
You can find these promo codes, rules for accessing perks, and information about all participating properties on the Visa Infinite Benefits website and the associated annual brochure.
Take note that an updated program is set to launch on July 1, 2026, including more tours, more tastings, and an elevated experience. We’ll report back with more details once the new program is live.
Since wineries will likely fall within your Visa Infinite card’s food and drink/dining category, it’s best to use a card that has an elevated earning rate in this area.
As we mentioned in the Visa Dining Series section above, a couple of top Visa Infinite cards we recommend for earning on food and drink expenses are the BMO eclipse Visa Infinite* Card and the TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite* Card.
Access Rewards, the last major perk that’s part of the Visa Infinite Benefits package, is specifically designed for golfers looking to explore the amazing courses across the United States.
Previously known as Troon Rewards, Access Rewards launched on November 13, 2025, and gives eligible Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ cardholders an Access membership with automatic Silver Status. With this membership, golfers can book tee-times at Access’ 130 locations across the US and Puerto Rico, and they can earn Access Rewards points at over 50 of these properties.
You can easily access these benefits by going to the Access website or the Access Golf app and signing up with your email address and eligible Visa Infinite or Visa Infinite+ card number. If you’re already a member of Access Rewards, you can register your eligible credit card on the Visa Infinite Access website to get upgraded to the membership level above the one you currently have.
Your membership level determines the rate at which you earn Access Rewards points for each dollar you spend when you play at eligible courses or make purchases at Access Shop: Silver Status members earn 1.1x points, Gold Status members earn 1.15x points, and Platinum Status members earn 1.2x at eligible locations.
You can redeem the points you earn towards tee-time costs or for eligible purchases through the Access Shop. Keep in mind that Access Rewards points expire 24 months after they were issued.
Access also offers Premium and Premium+ membership levels for $249 USD and $399 USD, respectively. These memberships get you discounts, guest passes, and automatic Silver or Gold status. If you golf often at the 100+ courses, this may be worthwhile for the discounts, but keep in mind that you’re already getting Silver status with your Visa Infinite card (and Platinum status if you have an eligible Visa Infinite Privilege card).
In addition to all the benefits mentioned above, eligible Canadian Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ cardholders can take advantage of the following perks:
Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ cardholders can also enjoy a selection of discounts on activities, travel expenses, and more. Examples of available discounts include 10% off with VIA Rail, 15% off at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), a 4th night free at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth in Montreal and Fairmont Tremblant, plus savings for yoga classes and other lifestyle merchants.
Just keep in mind that these offers change often, so you’ll want to take a look at the Visa Infinite benefits website to confirm the current offerings.
Beyond all of the above perks that are part of the Visa Infinite Benefits package, each Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ card also offers its own array of perks and benefits curated by the financial institution.
While these benefit packages are unique to each card, they often include perks such as travel insurance, discounts with specific merchants, elevated rewards earning rates for partnered companies, annual credits, and more. Take a look at each card through the links below to find out more about their portfolio of perks.
The Visa Infinite Benefits package offers a fantastic variety of ways to access unique experiences and save money. With these perks conveniently included with every Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite+ credit card in Canada, it’s easy to access and enjoy some added value and fun opportunities.
We hope this guide has helped you better understand these perks and has inspired you to take advantage of these offerings and get a little bit more from your Visa Infinite or Visa Infinite+ credit card.
