WestJet eStore: 10 points per dollar today
Loading article…
The WestJet Rewards eStore is running a flash earn event on August 14, 2026: 10 WestJet points per dollar spent at more than 25 major brands. The offer lasts one day only.
Since a WestJet point is worth 1 cent, this rate is equivalent to a 10% return on your online purchases. In addition, you keep the retailer’s discounts and the points from its own loyalty program, since the eStore stacks on top.
10 points per dollar for one day
Normally, eStore rates range from 1 to 5 points per dollar depending on the merchant. Today, participating brands jump to 10 points per dollar instead. Simons, Dyson, adidas, HP, and Fanatics are among the selection.
However, the 10-point rate does not apply to the entire catalogue. Some brands remain at their usual rate, such as Athleta at 6 points per dollar and ChillyMoose at 5 points per dollar. It is therefore worth checking the rate shown on the merchant tile before clicking.
Add 1.5 points with a WestJet card
The eStore advertises an extra 1.5 points per dollar when you pay with an RBC WestJet credit card. This bonus matches the regular earn rate of the RBC® WestJet World Elite Mastercard‡. You therefore earn twice on the same transaction: once through the portal, and a second time through the card.
| Card used | Points per dollar (everyday purchases) | Total during the flash earn event | Annual fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| RBC® WestJet World Elite Mastercard‡ | 1.5 | 11.5 points per dollar | $139 |
| RBC® WestJet Mastercard‡ | 1 | 11 points per dollar | $39 |
| Other credit card | Depending on your program | 10 points per dollar | Varies |
Let us take a concrete example. A $200 purchase at a merchant offering 10 points per dollar earns 2,000 WestJet points through the eStore. Then, the RBC® WestJet World Elite Mastercard‡ adds 300 points. The total comes to 2,300 points, or $23 that can be applied to a future WestJet flight.
| Credit card | Annual fee | Welcome offer | |

- Pay with your WestJet card: this adds up to 1.5 points per dollar on top of the eStore points.
Terms to know
A shopping portal tracks your purchases via cookies. A few habits can therefore help avoid unpleasant surprises:
- Disable your ad blocker, as it often prevents transaction tracking.
- Avoid promo codes found elsewhere on the web, as they can cancel the points award.
- Allow up to 30 days for the points to appear in your WestJet Rewards account.
- Take a screenshot of the displayed rate and your purchase confirmation, in case the points are delayed.
- A return or cancellation removes the points earned on the order.
Should you shop today?
Yes, if you already had a purchase planned. A 10% return in points on an expense you were going to make anyway remains excellent, especially during back-to-school season. However, a boosted rate does not justify an unnecessary purchase: 10 points per dollar are worth 10 cents per dollar, no more.
Also, always compare the retailer’s price before buying. Our page on the best credit cards can then help you choose the card that earns the most on your everyday spending. Finally, sign up for our newsletter to receive this type of flash offer as soon as it is announced.
