The 4 TD business credit cards, as of October 20, 2026
TD business credit cards target self-employed workers, professionals and small businesses. According to TD, you only need to be a Canadian resident who has reached the age of majority in your province to apply. Every card comes with the TD Card Management Tool, which produces expense reports and lets you set limits for each employee.
The TD Aeroplan Visa Business Card has one more advantage: it earns into the same Aeroplan account as your personal TD Aeroplan cards. You can therefore pool your company's points with your household's for a single flight reward.
TD Aeroplan Visa Business Card: for Air Canada flyers
The TD® Aeroplan® Visa* Business Card costs $149 a year, and each additional card costs $49. TD rebates those fees in the first year for the primary cardholder and up to two additional cardholders. The interest rate is 14.99% on purchases and 22.99% on cash advances.
2 points per dollar: purchases from Air Canada and Air Canada Vacations
2 points per dollar: participating Hyatt properties, on up to $80,000 in spending a year and until July 15, 2029
1.5 points per dollar: travel, public transit, dining, EV charging and some business services, such as delivery, internet, cable and phone
1 point per dollar: all other purchases
Based on our valuation of 2 cents per Aeroplan point, 1 point per dollar is a 2% return, and 1.5 points is 3%. To compare programs, see our page on the value of points and miles.
The card adds several Air Canada perks:
Free first checked bag for up to 9 people on the same Air Canada booking
Maple Leaf Lounges: one pass for every $10,000 in net purchases, up to 4 a year
NEXUS: application fee rebate, up to $100 every 48 months
Insurance: 9 types of coverage, including travel medical and flight delay insurance
What changes in January 2027
According to TD, the card gains new benefits on January 12, 2027, and its fees go up afterward:
15% discount: on Air Canada flight rewards
AC Wallet credit: $25 deposited twice a year
4th night and 4th rental day free: on hotels and cars booked with Aeroplan points
New annual fees: $169 for the primary cardholder and $54 per additional card, on the billing date that falls on or after January 25, 2027
For a card opened in October 2026, the first year stays free thanks to the welcome offer, then the first renewal is billed at the new $169 rate. Our article on what changes on Aeroplan credit cards covers these updates in detail.

TD Business Travel Visa Card: the biggest bonus
The TD Business Travel Visa* Card also costs $149 a year, plus $49 per additional card. This time, TD rebates the fees in the first year for the primary cardholder and up to four additional cardholders. The interest rate is 19.99% on purchases and 22.99% on cash advances.

6 points per dollar: dining, EV charging, public transit, streaming and digital media, scheduled recurring bills and foreign currency purchases, on up to $80,000 in spending per category a year
2 points per dollar: all other purchases
TD Rewards Points are worth less than Aeroplan points. Based on our valuation of 0.5 cents per point, here is the real return:
9 points per dollar: 4.5%
6 points per dollar: 3%
2 points per dollar: 1%
The easiest value comes through Expedia for TD, as our Expedia for TD guide explains.
One detail matters for companies that pay suppliers abroad: the 6 points per dollar on foreign currency purchases are worth about 3% at our valuation, slightly more than the 2.5% conversion fee. Also, TD states on its product page that changes are coming to this card. As of October 20, 2026, the details were not available, so check the terms when you apply.

TD Business Select Rate Visa Card: carrying a balance
The TD Business Select Rate™ Visa* Card earns neither points nor cash back. It is built for companies that sometimes carry a balance, with the same fixed rate on purchases and cash advances. TD offers two options:
No annual fee: 11.99% interest rate
$49 annual fee: 8.99% interest rate
The math depends on your average balance carried from month to month:
Average balance of $10,000: about $300 less in interest a year with the 8.99% option, or roughly $250 net after the fee
Break-even point: an average balance of about $1,630
Additional cards are free, and the card includes auto rental collision and loss damage insurance for up to 48 consecutive days. As with the TD Business Cash Back Visa Card, TD announces upcoming changes to this card.
The TD Business Select Rate Visa Card is a low-interest business credit card that lets you choose the fixed-rate option that suits you. Welcome offers on TD business credit cards
As of October 20, 2026, two TD business cards have a welcome offer, in effect since September 1, 2026. TD has not published an end date: the offer can be changed or withdrawn at any time.
120,000 points: when you spend $15,000 in the first 180 days
30,000 points: when you spend $25,000 in the first 365 days
20,000 points: for a purchase posted during the 15th-month billing cycle
The point count does not tell the whole story. Based on our valuations, the 60,000 Aeroplan points are worth about $1,200, compared with about $1,000 for the 200,000 TD Rewards Points. Both offers require the same spending threshold over 12 months. The TD Business Cash Back Visa Card and the TD Business Select Rate Visa Card have no offer.
Our verdict by profile
You fly Air Canada: the TD Aeroplan Visa Business Card. It has the most valuable bonus, the free first checked bag and Maple Leaf Lounge passes. If you already hold a personal TD Aeroplan card, your points pool in the same account.
You want flexible points: the TD Business Travel Visa Card, especially if your company spends heavily on dining, subscriptions or foreign currency, at 6 points per dollar.
You want no-fee cash back: the TD Business Cash Back Visa Card, if gas, recurring bills or office supplies are a big part of your spending.
The TD Aeroplan and TD Business Cash Back cards also work well together. Put Air Canada purchases and dining on the first, and gas and recurring bills on the second, with no extra annual fee.
Conclusion
For most small businesses that travel, the TD Aeroplan Visa Business Card is the best TD business credit card: a 60,000 Aeroplan point bonus, concrete Air Canada perks and a card that combines with personal TD Aeroplan cards. The TD Business Travel Visa Card remains a strong pick for a company that spends mostly on dining, subscriptions and foreign currency.
