Winter 2026-2027: 5 new sun routes

In its July 20, 2026 announcement, WestJet introduced the 5 routes below. Dates are announced service starts; check operating days, fares and any changes in the booking engine.

Winter schedule: frequencies and long-haul flights

The schedule published on August 17, 2026 calls for more Latin America and Caribbean flights. The examples below describe the announcement, including peak periods; they do not guarantee the same frequency every week.

WestJet also announced Calgary–São Paulo for winter, with onward LATAM connections depending on the ticket. The program describes daily, year-round Dreamliner service from Calgary to London Heathrow, Paris and Tokyo. Rome and Seoul extend their season through November before returning in March 2027. Summer 2026: announced domestic routes

The February 9, 2026 announcement added the 4 routes below to summer 2026. This section preserves that past season’s schedule rather than confirming their return in 2027.

History: spring-summer 2025 schedule

The following tables preserve the announcement published in November 2024 for spring-summer 2025. WestJet then announced 10% network growth, 12% growth in Canada and more than 3,000 weekly departures. Days and dates in these tables belong to 2025, rather than the 2026-2027 booking schedule.

The airline said it was adding two domestic and three cross-border destinations, as well as 11 new routes.

WestJet – Sudbury and Sydney to Calgary

The 2025 announcement planned 2 domestic destinations with nonstop Calgary service: Sudbury, Ontario, and Sydney, Nova Scotia.

WesJet – New Destinations in the United States

WestJet announced a major expansion of its service to the United States, adding three new destinations to its Alberta network: Anchorage, Alaska, Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, and Salt Lake City, Utah.

In addition, the airline will be offering passengers four new routes to Florida.

WestJet – Flights to Europe and Asia

WestJet has announced it is improving connectivity between Canada and Delta Air Lines’ main US hubs. The airline also mentioned its objective to continue its expansion in Europe and Asia.

For 2025, WestJet announced St. John’s–Paris, continued daily Tokyo service and increased Calgary–Incheon flying. These details describe that past season.
