To the point Starbucks Canada joins Aeroplan, the Air Canada Loyalty Program! You can earn and redeem Aeroplan points with Starbucks.

This is major news in loyalty programs in Canada. While other coalition programs regularly lose partners, Air Canada has just added a major partner to Aeroplan with Starbucks Canada.

Starting today, you can link your Aeroplan Account to a Starbucks Rewards Account and double-dip by earning both Aeroplan Points and Starbucks Stars.

Earn Aeroplan points with Starbucks Canada

First, you need to link your Aeroplan account with your Starbucks Rewards account. To do so, you must go to this page.

Conclusion

Last July, when I met with Mark Nasr, Senior Vice President, Products, Marketing and eCommerce Air Canada, at the new Aeroplan program’s exclusive presentation, he told me that major partners would be joining the program over time.

We have seen this with new airline partners such as Etihad, Azul Brazilian Airlines, Vistara Airlines, Air Serbia and Virgin Australia. Today, Starbucks Canada is one of the major new partners in millions of Canadians’ daily lives. And more will be announced soon!

Also, Aeroplan will be introducing a series of “Aeroplan Ahead” offers throughout 2021. A bit like what was done in 2020 following the COVID-19 pandemic by allowing Aeroplan members to earn points from home or with daily purchases before being able to travel again!

Bravo Aeroplan 😉
