From Quebec City, this service will run from December 21, 2024 to April 26, 2025, every Saturday.

The Mexican city joins the airline’s other destinations: Acapulco, Cancún, Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta.

Transat – Florida in the spotlight

Air Transat has also mentioned that it will be increasing the frequency of its departures to Florida. Daily flights from Montreal to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando will now be available. From Quebec City, there will be one flight a week to Fort Lauderdale.

An additional direct flight to Los Angeles, California, will also be offered from Montreal.

Transat – Save on travel expenses

Air Transat does not yet have a loyalty program. To save on your package or flight, you’ll need to use the credit card travel points strategy.

Among the most popular programs are American Express Membership Rewards points. The best strategy is to take advantage of the sign-up bonus as a new customer and maximize the rewards on your daily spend.

Once you’ve booked with your card, simply redeem your rewards points for an account credit. The value is easy to calculate: 1,000 points = $10.
