Transat – Save with points

Air Transat does not yet have a loyalty program. To lighten the bill for your tour, you’ll need to opt for the credit card travel points strategy.

This is the only way to reduce the cost of your trip, with the exception of Transat promotions.

Some of the most attractive programs include American Express Membership Rewards points. The aim is to exchange as many reward points as possible for an account credit.

If you manage to accumulate 60,000 points, you’ll enjoy a return of $600.

What’s the best strategy for achieving this? Simply use the credit card sign-up bonus and maximize the rewards on your daily spending.

The American Express Cobalt^® Card is one of the best credit cards in Canada for earning lots of points fast.

Another rewards program not to be overlooked is Scene+, which is just as effective for account credit, i.e.: 1,000 points = $10.

The Scotiabank Passport^™ Visa Infinite +* Card also offers you a great advantage: no conversion fees for foreign currency purchases.
