When planning your trip, be sure to check the dimensions and weight of your carry-on baggage. So you can be aware of the size limits.

Maximum Carry-on Baggage Size – WestJet
WestJet has changed the dimensions of the carry-on bag.
To allow time to adapt to the new cabin baggage dimensions, WestJet will accept baggage with the « previous » maximum dimensions as well as the « new » maximum dimensions until May 5, 2025.
For the time being and until May 5, 2025, WestJet will therefore accept the following sizes:
- Height: 53 cm (21 inches)
- Depth: 23 cm (9 inches)
- Width: 38 cm (15 inches)
As of March 13, 2025, WestJet will accept the following new dimension:
- Height: 56 cm (22 inches)
- Depth: 23 cm (9 inches)
- Width: 35.5 cm (14 inches)
