Air Canada: New Montreal–Guadalajara Route and Other Destinations for Summer 2026

Air Canada expands its international network for summer 2026 with exciting new routes to Europe, Asia, and the US, offering more travel options.
New flights to Mexico, Sicily and Mallorca from Montreal
Air Canada launches two new Mediterranean routes from Montreal starting June 2026.
The airline thus becomes the first Canadian carrier to offer direct flights to Guadalajara, Catania (Sicily) and Palma de Mallorca (as mentioned in our article yesterday about the new A321XLR aircraft).

There will also be an increase compared to summer 2025, as there will be 11 weekly flights in 2026 between Montreal and Cancún.
Elsewhere in Canada, flights to Mexico will also be more frequent: Toronto will now offer 4 weekly flights to Monterrey, while Vancouver will see its routes to Mexico City increase to 11 weekly flights starting June 27. The city of Vancouver will also benefit from an additional flight to Puerto Vallarta, for a total of 2 weekly flights in 2026.

New flights to Berlin, Nantes, and Tel Aviv from Montreal
Air Canada is expanding its international network from Montreal for summer 2026 with the launch of new routes to Berlin, Nantes, and Tel Aviv. These routes, operated with modern aircraft featuring Business Class and Economy Class, will be available several times a week.

Ponta Delgada Returns from Toronto
Air Canada launches a new direct route to Ponta Delgada, Azores, bringing Canada closer to the island of São Miguel. The flights, operated three times a week on a modern single-aisle aircraft, offer Premium Economy and Economy Class.
