To the point Marriott Bonvoy has introduced a new status challenge for Eligible members of four competitor programs.

Register For Marriott Bonvoy Status Challenge

For a limited time, you can register in a status challenge to get a Marriott Bonvoy Elite status.

To be eligible, you must have an Elite status in one of these programs:

Marriott Bonvoy members will immediately receive either Gold or Platinum Bonvoy status.

And to maintain this status until February 2022, you will have to take part in a challenge:

  • Stay 5 nights within 90 days to maintain Gold Elite status
  • Stay 15 nights within 90 days to maintain Platinum Elite status

Several things to note:

  • You must be a member of Marriott Bonvoy to register for the status challenge
  • The 90-day period begins when the member is officially upgraded
  • It is recommended to register soon because the number of registrations will determine how long the status challenge will be available
  • Eligibility requires uploading proof of corresponding elite status in one of the four competitor programs and at least one stay in the prior 12 months from the registration date at a participating property in that program
