Review: TownePlace Suites Orlando, Flamingo Crossings Town Center | Marriott Bonvoy

Many hotels exist around the various Disney World and Universal Studios parks. There is a lot to choose from, but the prices can quickly increase.

While in Orlando with our two children, we had in mind to visit 3 iconic Disney parks and wanted to be close to them:

• Epcot,
• Animal Kingdom,
• and the classic Magic Kingdom.

Let’s go back to this hotel. After analyzing the prices of the hotels and the distances to the parks, we decided to stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando. However, there are 3 other Marriott hotels right next door:

• the TownePlace Suite Orlando
• Springhill Suites by Marriott Orlando
• the Residence Inn Orlando

The Flamingo Crossings, Town Center area was built in the same years and has seen the construction of several hotels, centers and restaurants.

We did not stay in one of these hotels, but we visited it to give you an idea. Here are a few pictures of what you will find at TownePlace Suite Orlando.

The TownePlace Suites Orlando hotel is available from 23,000 Marriott Bonvoy points or 209 CAD per night.

The TownePlace Suites Orlando hotel is located 15 miles from Orlando International Airport and about 10 miles from Walt Disney World Parks, which is ideal for early arrival to the parks.

The TownePlace Suites Orlando hotel opened in November 2015 and offers rooms suitable for extended stays. You can choose between several types of studios (queen bed, king bed, sofa bed) or a two-bedroom suite.

Each room has a small kitchen with a microwave, stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher with dishes available, and a dining table to be independent of the hotel services.

The decoration is straightforward. The hotel is in the functional in order to facilitate the life of the customers.

A desk area is available in the rooms, with free Wi-Fi and a large flat-screen LCD TV and Netflix service.

The hotel offers a “market” on the first floor for necessities, drinks or snacks if needed. But several stores are nearby, just a few minutes away on foot.

The TownePlace Suites Orlando hotel is next to the SpringHill Suites Orlando hotel. Hotel parking is available for $10 per day.

The hotel offers continental and American hot breakfast service. The buffet is free and a coffee counter is available at all times.

If you wish to eat outside, it is also possible, and picnic areas are provided with even barbecues. You can also take advantage of the hotel’s restaurant, the Flamingo’Bar & Grill, which serves American cuisine for dinners and suppers: burgers, sandwiches and pizza, or take a break at Starbucks before your “trip” to Disney Park!

The TownePlace Suites Orlando hotel shares outdoor space with the SpringHill Suites Orlando. Thus the pool is central and for all residents of both hotels. This one is huge, which is not a problem. A Jacuzzi and a fireplace are also available to warm up on chilly evenings.

The TownePlace Suites Orlando hotel also features a beautiful, bright fitness room open 24/7. You can also let off steam on outdoor sports fields.

This hotel is ideally suited for families who wish to be independent during their extended stays at an affordable cost.
