TownePlace Suites Titusville – Our Suite

The whole place is said to be modern, but I found the style a bit dated and the furniture mid-range. Our room was a good size and clean.

The advantage of the TownePlace Suites is that each suite has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, stove, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and dishes available, as well as a dining table and four chairs, allowing you to be independent of the hotel’s services. Note that in our room, the lighting could be improved in the kitchen area.

A coffee and tea kit and a teapot for filter coffee were at our disposal.

We had air conditioning, but the installation was quite outdated and noisy.

We had a room with two queen beds, a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. The fitted closet contained an ironing board and iron and lots of hangers for hanging clothes.

The bathroom was a good size with a single sink countertop, toilet and tub/shower.

It is possible to park easily at the hotel.

The hotel offers American continental hot breakfast service from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. (the time is different on their website). The buffet is free and is relatively simple.

We were able to take advantage of this. Few customers were present when we arrived in the dining room, allowing us to eat peacefully, but the room became quite full afterwards.

The TownePlace Suites Titusville hotel offers guests a rectangular pool with some seating. The environment is not the most pleasant, as the swimming pool is next to the hotel’s parking lot. When we came, the weather was gray and rainy, not allowing us to enjoy the outdoors.

The hotel also has a well-equipped fitness room, open at all times seven days a week.

The elevator also states that room service is unavailable on Saturdays and Sundays. To see if it was permanent.

A computer corner is available for clients on the first floor. Connections are also available for working in the common area connected to the dining room.

The hotel’s location in Titusville is convenient as it is within minutes of many restaurants and stores. It offers easy access to local attractions. We advise you to :

• visit the Kennedy Space Center which is one of the largest space centers in the world where NASA‘s future programs and missions are directed,
• visit the American Space Museum & Space Walk of Fame in Titusville,
• swim at popular beaches such as Cocoa Beach or Playalinda,
• discover by boat the mangroves of Merritt Island,
• or go to Orlando for its multiple theme parks.

We received a warm welcome from the TownePlace Suites Titusville team, and the staff is accommodating.

To enhance the experience of extended-stay travellers, the hotel should offer a warmer environment and more varied breakfast service.

One thing is for sure, the location is perfect and you won’t be bored in Titusville.
