RBC and More Rewards
To the point RBC and More Rewards continue their partnership with new credit cards to give their members more benefits and allow them to accumulate more points.

Partnership between RBC and More Rewards

Avion Rewards and More Rewards had announced the start of a partnership in March 2024 to provide more savings opportunities for their members.

More Rewards is the loyalty program of the Pattison Food Group, which includes Save-On-Foods, Buy-Low Foods, Quality Foods, Urban Fare, PriceSmart Foods, Nesters Market and Quality Foods. Other partners include Panago Pizza, Speedy Glass, Coast Hotels and are located in Western Canada.

More Rewards points can be used for grocery discounts, gift cards and travel discounts, among other things.

Avion Rewards is Royal Bank’s loyalty program. Points Avion Rewards are accumulated with several RBC credit and debit cards. Points are then used to purchase travel and gift cards, and to transfer them to other airline programs.

This partnership begins with two RBC credit cards.

Note that 10,000 More Rewards points entitle you to a $15 discount at More Rewards stores.

Right now, More Rewards has a similar partnership with CIBC, but it ends on July 31, 2024.

More information on the RBC/More Rewards partnership will be announced after this date. We’ll update this article as soon as both programs reveal more.

Partnership with Avion Rewards

No details were given of the exact nature of the partnership. According to the press release:

These new cardholders will benefit from RBC’s Avion Rewards, Canada’s largest proprietary loyalty program, and its extensive partner network, including Petro-Canada.

We can therefore imagine several scenarios in which the Avion Rewards, More Rewards and Petro-Points accounts are linked, in order to benefit from advantages such as RBC Avion offers, for example.

These credit cards seem to be an equivalent of the RBC Visa Credit Card, with the Metro group in Quebec and in Ontario and the Moi loyalty program.

Bottom Line

More information on the partnership between RBC, Avion Rewards and More Rewards is expected to be announced shortly. We’ll update this article as soon as more is known about these programs.
