KLM: New Destinations and Flight Schedule 2026-2027

KLM: this article brings together new destination announcements and the 2026-2027 flight schedule from Canada and through Amsterdam. The official winter program published September 22, 2026 covers October 25, 2026 to March 27, 2027. The June summer announcement is kept in a separate historical section.
KLM announces 12 weekly Toronto flights, including 5 on the Airbus A350. Toronto is planned as the first commercial destination for KLM’s new aircraft. KLM then expects A350 service to Montreal during the winter, without giving a first-flight date or frequency for that deployment in this release.
| Route from Amsterdam | Announced frequency | Announced A350 deployment |
|---|---|---|
| Toronto (YYZ) | 12 weekly flights | 5 weekly A350 flights |
| Montreal (YUL) | Not specified in this release | During winter; start date and frequency not specified |
These are announced plans, rather than a guaranteed aircraft on every departure. Check the airport code, date, cabin and seat map in your booking. Another Toronto rotation may use a different aircraft.
The release announces 164 destinations in 64 countries, including 93 in Europe and 71 intercontinental destinations. Canadian travellers generally reach these destinations through Amsterdam Schiphol; they are not 164 nonstop routes from Canada.
Changes described include Minneapolis returning to the winter schedule and San Diego operating throughout the winter season. Panama receives additional peak-period frequencies, while São Paulo’s schedule is increased. Rovaniemi, Kittilä, Florence and Basel also receive additional service in Europe.
Conditional resumptions and operational changes may evolve. Compare connection times and schedules for your chosen dates rather than treating a network map as proof of availability.
The Canadian network described in our KLM guide includes Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton to Amsterdam. Check your exact dates for operating days and frequencies; the summer 2026 total does not automatically apply in winter.

The joint Air France–KLM article published June 19, 2026 covered the maintained summer program, including up to 40 weekly KLM flights between Canada and Amsterdam. Together, Air France and KLM announced up to 100 weekly flights.
Those figures concern summer 2026. Fuel and ticket information remains in the joint article and does not establish guarantees for a new winter booking. For Air France’s own announcements, use the Air France master.
