Air Canada has launched the Air Canada City Shuttle, a new motorcoach service connecting downtown Montreal with Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL). Air Canada operates the service in partnership with The Landline Company, for $9 one way, plus applicable taxes.
The service quietly began operating on July 10, ahead of a broader public launch planned for Monday, July 13. Available exclusively to Air Canada customers, the shuttle uses dedicated bus lanes and a private airport entrance. As a result, the trip between downtown and YUL stays fast and predictable, even at rush hour.

The Air Canada City Shuttle expands the multimodal partnership between Air Canada and The Landline Company. Motorcoaches depart from the Palais des congrès de Montréal, right downtown, and run straight to Montréal-Trudeau airport. The location works well for convention attendees, business travellers, visitors and Montreal residents alike.
The shuttle runs daily, with departures every 15 minutes during the morning peak and every 30 minutes for the rest of the day.
You can book ahead at montreal.landline.com or board at the airport, subject to seat availability.
Your trip starts at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, where a dedicated waiting area welcomes passengers before boarding. Once at YUL, you proceed to check-in and bag drop, then continue through security. Our guide to Air Canada baggage fees explains how to avoid them.
After landing, collect your baggage first. Then head to the Departures level at Door 7, where the shuttle picks you up curbside.
Landline does not refund tickets. However, they remain fully exchangeable and never expire. Through Landline’s Manage Trip feature, you can switch to an earlier or later departure at any time, subject to seat availability.
The service uses Quebec-built Prevost motorcoaches. Here is what you will find on board:
Customers travelling with a wheelchair or another mobility aid should contact The Landline Company in advance at montreal.landline.com/assistance to arrange assistance.
At $9 one way, the Air Canada City Shuttle compares favourably with taxis and rideshare apps for getting to YUL. Above all, the connection protection stands out: no city bus or taxi offers free rebooking when you run late.
This launch adds to Air Canada’s recent investments in Montreal, such as the Air Canada Café and the reopening of the Maple Leaf Lounge at YUL. If you fly often with the airline, pair the shuttle with the Aeroplan program and one of the best Aeroplan credit cards to get more out of every trip.
