WestJet Rewards has introduced a new way to earn WestJet Rewards points with WestJet Hotels.

Thanks to a partnership between WestJet Rewards and Rocket Travel by Agoda, fans of the airline can earn points when they book a hotel stay through the new travel portal.

Designed to enhance the customer experience and encourage WestJet loyalty, WestJet Hotels is set to make it easier than ever to earn points that can then be used for discounted or free WestJet flights and other rewards.

WestJet Hotels – earn WestJet points

WestJet Hotels

With WestJet Hotels, you can earn WestJet Rewards points on hotel bookings made on the WestJet Hotels website.

The partnership between WestJet and Rocket Travel by Agoda gives you more than 400,000 hotel properties around the world to choose from, making it easy to find just the right place.

In terms of earning rates, all WestJet Rewards members will earn a minimum of 2 points per $1 spent on hotels.

Additionally, if you’re a Silver, Gold, or Platinum WestJet Rewards member or you have one of the WestJet-branded RBC credit cards, you’ll have the chance to earn even more through exclusive opportunities.

How to Earn WestJet Rewards Points on Hotel Bookings

Earning WestJet Rewards points when booking a stay through WestJet Hotels is super easy.

To start enjoying this new way to earn, just follow these steps:

1. Go to the WestJet Hotels website and log in with your WestJet Rewards ID/email address.

WestJet Hotels – Log in and search -EN

2. Enter the destination, dates, and number of guests to search for available hotels.

WestJet Hotels – hotel search -EN

3. From the search results, choose the hotel that suits your travel style and budget.

In each of the hotel listings, you’ll see the number of WestJet Rewards points that you can earn each night, as well as any bonus points that are being applied.

WestJet Hotels – search results -EN

4. Once you’ve chosen a property, you’ll need to select your preferred room type and reservation details. This includes the number of beds needed, whether the rate includes free cancellation, additional amenities like breakfast, and more.

At this stage, you ‘ll also likely notice that the number of WestJet Rewards points that you can earn changes based on the room type/price.

WestJet Hotels – select room type -EN

5. After you’ve confirmed the details of your reservation, you’ll need to add contact details for your booking.

On this page, you’ll see the full price breakdown and the number of WestJet Rewards points that you’ll earn for this hotel stay.

Fill in the necessary information on this page, and then head to the payment page to finish checking out.

Additionally, take note that this is also the step where you can add a Travel Credit Voucher if you have one.

WestJet Hotels – pre check-out -EN

6. The final step is to add your payment information.

Keep in mind that you can pay with any Visa, Mastercard, or American Express, but you’ll truly maximize the number of WestJet Rewards points you earn by using either the WestJet RBC Mastercard‡®, the WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard‡, or the WestJet RBC® World Elite Mastercard for Business‡.
