To the point Marriott Bonvoy and United summer promo: earn 2,000 points + 1,500 bonus miles for each stay + flight. Register by August 31, 2026.

Marriott Bonvoy and United Airlines are bringing back their summer dual-currency promotion: with registration, elite members of both programs can earn 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy points and 1,500 United MileagePlus miles for each paid stay paired with a paid flight, between July 15 and September 30, 2026.

Who is eligible?

Despite what its name suggests, this promotion isn’t open to all members of both programs. It’s reserved for the highest tiers—an already loyal audience:

  • Hotel side: Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite
  • Airline side: United MileagePlus Premier Gold, Premier Platinum, or Premier 1K

If you do not have one of these statuses, you are unfortunately not eligible, even if your Bonvoy and MileagePlus accounts are already linked.

How the Promotion Works

First register at marriottbonvoy.com/stayflyearn, then earn 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy points and 1,500 United MileagePlus miles each time you pair a stay with a flight.

  • The two activities can be separate (no need for them to be on the same trip)
  • Stays and flights must be paid in cash: free nights, award flights, and points+cash bookings are excluded
  • The number of eligible stays and flights must be equal: with 4 flights and 7 stays, only 4 pairs are counted; the 3 additional stays earn nothing
  • Your already booked reservations count, provided you register in time and travel before September 30, 2026
  • Registration required by August 31, 2026
  • Allow up to 12 weeks after the end of the promotion for points and miles to be distributed

Conversions and RewardsPlus statuses year-round

Beyond this summer promo, the permanent RewardsPlus partnership between Marriott Bonvoy and United MileagePlus offers attractive conversions year-round:

For United Premier Silver members and above:

  • Convert 60,000 Marriott points into United miles → you receive an additional 10,000 bonus miles
  • Standard ratio: 3 points = 1 mile
  • Additional bonus: 10% bonus on the conversion

For Marriott Titanium Elite members and above:

  • Access to enhanced conversion rates with United MileagePlus
  • 10% bonus on your point-to-mile conversions

To earn your Marriott points daily, a card is designed for this program:

Complimentary elite statuses

If you are an eligible member, you can also obtain complementary elite statuses via RewardsPlus:

  • United Premier Gold+ members: complimentary Marriott Gold Elite status (registration required at getrewardsplus.com)
  • Marriott Titanium Elite+ members: complimentary United Premier Silver status (registration required)

These statuses provide immediate benefits such as room upgrades, cabin upgrades, and access to priority services.

This promotion is worthwhile for you if you already have elite status on both sides and are travelling this summer, with no booking-date restrictions.

The Final Word

This promotion targets a limited audience: if you’re already Titanium Elite or Ambassador on the Marriott side, or Premier Gold, Platinum, or 1K on the United side, and you already have stays and flights planned this summer, registration takes just two minutes and the bonus is easy to earn.

If you’re not eligible, there’s no point reorganizing your travel plans for a few thousand points—save your one annual dual-currency participation for a more worthwhile promotion.
