F1 tickets in Montreal 2027: Amex presale until September 23

American Express Cardmembers in Canada can buy tickets for the 2027 Canadian Grand Prix before the general public. American Express is running this presale through Amex Experiences, from now until September 23, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
The seats covered are grandstands 16 and 32 at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in Montreal. Quantities are limited, and the offer is subject to availability. To compare other card perks, see our guide to the best credit cards in Canada.
The Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix 2027 takes place from May 21 to 23, 2027. The official Grand Prix site (gpcanada.ca) and F1 ticketing both confirm these dates, earlier than the June window of past editions.
Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, in Parc Jean-Drapeau on Île Notre-Dame, hosts the event as usual. It is the same urban track along the river, in the heart of Montreal.

American Express's September 17, 2026 email sets the terms of this early access:
No dollar amount is listed here: prices change and must be read on the purchase page when you order.
You need an American Express Card and must put the full order on that card. An F1 Ticket Store account is also required. If you do not have one, you create it during checkout. Tickets then show up in that account as e-tickets.
Go to the official Canadian Grand Prix website or Amex Experiences to start the purchase. The presale ends on September 23, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. After that, any remaining seats, if any, follow the usual public calendar.
For current terms, use gpcanada.ca or Amex Experiences rather than a tracking link from a promotional email.

Holders of the American Express Platinum Card are among those who most often get this presale and the weekend activations. For a sense of on-site costs, see our article on the Montreal Grand Prix budget.
Yes. Early access runs through Amex Experiences and is for American Express Cardmembers. The order must be charged in full to that card. Without an Amex card, you wait for the public sale, on the promoter's calendar.
American Express says the window runs until September 23, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Ticket quantity is limited. Once the presale inventory is gone, the offer closes even if that date has not arrived.
The September 17, 2026 American Express email names grandstands 16 and 32 at Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve. Other sections may go on general sale later. For the track map and seat details, use the purchase page and the Grand Prix site.
Up to 8 tickets per transaction. That cap comes from the issuer, not from a Milesopedia rule. If you are travelling in a larger group, split the orders, still subject to availability.
Prices are in Canadian dollars and they vary. American Express points you to the purchase page rather than locking a fare in the email. We therefore do not publish an amount here. Check the price shown when you pay.
Yes. Tickets are electronic and attach to an F1 Ticket Store account. You can create one during checkout if you do not have one. Keep your login details: that is how you retrieve your tickets.
