Avion Rewards, RBC‘s new loyalty program, is now available to all Canadians (even those who don’t have RBC Avion credit cards such as the RBC Avion Visa Infinite Card).
Anyone can open an Avion Rewards account and become an Avion Select member. You can register here now.

As an Avion Select member, you will be able to get offers from partner retailers such as:
- Boston Pizza
- Doordash
- H&M
- Hertz
- Indigo
- Lyft
- Marriott
- McDonald’s
- Petro-Canada
- Rexall
- Rona
- and more

Also, as an Avion Select member, you can earn and redeem points for:
- Gift cards
- Articles
- travel
- and more

Now you can collect points online with Avion Rewards’ ShopPlus browser extension.
In this way, Avion Rewards becomes a new online shopping portal on par with these:
Avion Rewards states in its application that it will be possible for Avion Select members to earn points from partners from Autumn 2023. However, it is already possible to get cashback via theShopPlus shopping extension.

By making Avion Rewards available to everyone, RBC is competing with other universally accessible rewards programs such as Aeroplan and AIR MILES.
What remains to be seen is the rate at which RBC Avion points can be earned and redeemed for Avion Select members. No doubt it will be less attractive than for RBC customers with an RBC Avion credit card.
This new Avion Rewards program option will undoubtedly make it easier for RBC to acquire new customers by offering them an entry-level Avion Rewards credit card like the RBC ION Visa Card and RBC ION+ Visa Cardor a more premium card such as the RBC Avion Visa Infinite Card.
And earn more points (or redeem them at a higher value)!
