New Air Canada Partner
It is now possible to book a flight on the Air Canada website with flydubai !
From Dubai, flydubai has a network of over 110 destinations in more than 50 countries in the Gulf region (GCC) and the Middle East, Africa, Asia, the Caucasus, Central and Southeast Europe and the Indian subcontinent.
Founded in June 2009, flydubai is growing and has more and more destinations. The carrier has a fleet of more than 75 Boeing 737 aircraft for both business and economy class passengers.
Air Canada will add its marketing code on nine routes operated by flydubai from Dubai. This will allow travelers to have only one ticket and to make the reservation at one place, for destinations that require several stopovers or different airlines.
The connections will serve the cities of :
- Medina
- Dammam
- Bahrain
- Jeddah
- Muscat
- Colombo
- And Karachi
Flydubai flights will depart from Toronto and Vancouver.
All that remains is to obtain final regulatory approvals soon. This announcement follows the increase in service recently announced by Transport Canada between Canada and the United Arab Emirates. Here are our articles on the subject:
How to book a flight with Air Canada and flydubai
As of today, it is now possible to book a flight from flydubai on theAir Canada website.
At this time, we cannot use or collect Aeroplan points on flydubai wings. However, Air Canada and flydubai are working on it and more details will be known during the year. One can assume that there will be features and privileges on both sides for each of their loyalty programs.
We will update this section when this is known.
