Sentosa Cove is one of Singapore’s most popular destinations, ideal for those seeking relaxation, nature and proximity to the city’s major attractions. This seaside enclave combines tranquility with proximity to beaches, theme parks and other iconic sites. In this unique setting, the W Singapore Sentosa Cove stands out as the hotel of choice for those seeking not only relaxation, but also a luxurious experience.
Booking
The W Singapore Sentosa Cove is not just a hotel, but a true destination. Offering a beachfront setting, it offers luxury, refined services and a vibrant atmosphere, ideal for travelers combining relaxation and entertainment.
With its many restaurants, huge swimming pool and spa, the hotel is more than just a place to stay. In April, the room rate was S$351 or 57,000 Bonvoy points.
Arrival
Location
The W Singapore Sentosa Cove is located in the exclusive Sentosa Cove district, just minutes from the island’s main attractions, including Universal Studios Singapore, Adventure Cove Waterpark and Sentosa beaches. Although far from the city center, the hotel is well connected to the rest of Singapore by convenient transport links.
Note that there is an entry fee for the island, but as a W customer, you’ll enjoy a free pass for access to Sentosa, valid also for your Uber transport, as I’ve experienced.
Check-In and Lobby
Upon arrival, the W Singapore Sentosa Cove lobby impresses with its modern, luxurious design. The space is vast and the atmosphere resort-like. Check-in was swift, with friendly, professional service.
Although I had booked a « Wonderful » room, I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a « Fabulous ». This upgrade added a private balcony, offering even more comfort. Having said that, all the W’s rooms are magnificent, with refined, meticulous furnishings, true to the spirit of the chain.
Room
Our room at the W Singapore Sentosa Cove offers a first impression that leaves no doubt: it’s cool and vibrant, a style that immediately awakens the senses. From the moment we enter, the modern, dynamic and resolutely stylish ambience strikes us.
The bold, eclectic design combines fuchsia neon lighting elements under the base of the bed and behind the TV, in harmony with shades of lilac, mauve and purple that pop up everywhere – around the bathroom mirror, on the marbled top of the work desk, in the floral design that adorns the wall above the bed, and even on the cushions. This vibrant color palette creates an energetic, relaxed atmosphere, but with a touch of refinement that immerses us in an instant sense of well-being.
The ubiquitous floral decor transports us to a veritable paradise. It reinforces the idea that this place is much more than just a hotel room, it’s a sanctuary where every detail has been thought of to maximize our comfort. The welcome for Elite Bonvoy members remains true to the W experience: a personalized word, fresh drinks and a fruit platter. Steel-blue, helium-filled balloons add a playful, festive touch, making us feel like distinguished guests, genuinely awaited with enthusiasm.
The room’s extremely versatile layout allows you to modulate the space as you wish. Removable panels can be used to conceal the TV or, on the contrary, to create a more immersive atmosphere. The two large glass panels between the bathroom and the bed can be opened to transform the room into a romantic, soothing setting. All this is enhanced by a soft carpet that covers the whole area, creating a hushed, enveloping feel.
Carefully selected furniture and fixtures add a touch of modern refinement. The many clever storage spaces allow us to organize our belongings without clutter, giving us a feeling of freedom. To get our day off to a smooth and pleasant start, an espresso machine is at our disposal, so we can enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the unique ambience.
The room’s private balcony, with a magnificent view of the W Singapore Sentosa Cove‘s palm-studded courtyard, invites us to relax. The outdoor area is also well appointed, with a terrace equipped with tables, chairs and even a bench for lounging and enjoying the fresh air.
The brightness of the room is simply fantastic, bathed in natural light that accentuates the bright colors, creating a welcoming, open atmosphere. Every moment spent in this room made us feel revitalized, immersed in an unforgettable experience.
General Impression of the Room
The W Singapore Sentosa Cove room is a haven of comfort and style. Every detail, from the bold design to the versatile layout, contributes to creating a unique environment where you instantly feel welcome and pampered. The dynamic ambience, supported by touches of vibrant color and floral elements, invites relaxation while being resolutely modern and refined.
Spaces are cleverly organized, offering both privacy and practicality. All this is enhanced by top-quality amenities, such as an espresso machine for milder mornings and a private balcony to enjoy the fresh air. It’s a room that feels both at home and on vacation, the perfect place to recharge your batteries in a heavenly setting.
Restaurant
The restaurants at W Singapore Sentosa Cove offer a refined culinary experience, each with its own unique ambiance and character. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed lunch, a gourmet dinner or a cocktail with friends, each of these venues has something to satisfy every craving.
THE KITCHEN TABLE
Breakfast at The Kitchen Table was a real treat. The varied and comprehensive buffet satisfied our taste buds, offering a wide selection of international dishes.
This restaurant, bathed in natural light and surrounded by a vibrant, tropical ambience, allows you to enjoy your meal indoors or on the terrace, with a view of the outdoors. Whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast or a relaxed lunch, this place offers a pleasant and relaxed culinary experience.
SKIRT
Although we didn’t have the opportunity to try SKIRT, the grill restaurant at W Singapore Sentosa Cove is sure to attract meat lovers. Located near the marina, it offers a refined culinary experience, where top-quality ingredients are sublimated thanks to a maturing process and cooking over an open fire. This venue promises an immersion in the rich flavors of beef, in a contemporary and elegant atmosphere, ideal for a gourmet dinner.
WOOBAR
The WOOBAR offers a chic, relaxed setting, perfect for an evening cocktail. This elegant lounge bar, bathed in groovy, suave rhythms, invites conviviality. Although we didn’t have the opportunity to stop by, WOOBAR seems to be the ideal place to meet up with friends, sip creative cocktails and enjoy the island’s vibrant atmosphere.

Outdoor pool – WET DECK
The WET Deck at W Singapore Sentosa Cove is much more than just a pool – it’s an invitation to escape. Nestled in a sumptuous setting, this 1,338 m² outdoor pool overlooking the South China Sea is the perfect place to relax, swim or simply float.
The brand’s emblematic W, in a purplish hue that contrasts beautifully with the bright white waterfront chairs, sits proudly at the center of this aquatic space.
The imposing structure of the giant slide is a real eye-catcher, as are the children’s laughter as they race down the water slides. At the base of the slide, the WET Bar with its submerged stools creates an atmosphere that’s both relaxed and refreshing.
It’s not just a swimming pool, it’s a veritable playground for relaxation, with countless relaxation zones dotted around the premises. Classic deckchairs, hanging hammocks and even semi-private gazebos with curtains provide the perfect spot to relax in the shade.
Bright orange beach towels add a cheerful, energetic touch to this sumptuous ensemble. Thanks to the intimate size of the hotel, with its 240 rooms, the space around the pool is always pleasant and spacious, whether in the lush gardens, poolside, or even on the semi-docks that line the water.
The tropical vegetation, with its exotic plants, palm trees and carpet of lush green grass, creates a veritable oasis, where every corner seems to invite relaxation and serenity. The WET Deck is a place where every moment becomes a moment of well-being, whether you come to recharge your batteries or simply to enjoy the idyllic setting.
FIT gym
The FIT gym at W Singapore Sentosa Cove offers a wide range of modern equipment for cardio, strength training and activities such as kickboxing. Open 24/7, it enables guests to maintain their fitness routine during their stay.
SPA AWAY
SPA AWAY offers a soothing rainforest-inspired setting with top-of-the-range wellness facilities, including a sauna, steam room, vitality pool and sensory showers. The spa offers relaxing treatments for a complete regeneration experience.
Around the Hotel
Around the W Singapore Sentosa Cove, we enjoyed the island’s peaceful and refined environment. We took beautiful walks along the marina, admiring the magnificent yachts and private boats moored there. It’s the perfect place to stroll and enjoy the breathtaking views. We also made a detour to Universal Studios, where a stop at the Hard Rock Café allowed me to add a drink to my collection – it was my 68th! These moments allowed us to take full advantage of the diversity of attractions while being just a few steps away from the tranquility of the hotel.
Overall Impression
Our stay at the W Singapore Sentosa Cove was an exceptional experience, combining luxury, modern design and ultimate relaxation. The hotel, located in an idyllic setting in Sentosa, offers a dynamic and refined atmosphere, perfectly suited to those seeking to blend relaxation and excitement.
Despite its proximity to the hustle and bustle of Singapore, the hotel exudes a sense of intimacy and serenity, thanks to its island location. Every space, from the rooms to the WET Deck and the restaurants, has been designed to offer an immersive and memorable experience. The sea-view pool, upscale services and personalized welcome added a touch of pleasure to our stay. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort, bold design and a unique resort experience, the W Singapore Sentosa Cove is a must.
