From October 15, 2026 to October 14, 2027, TD and Chexy are teaming up: new holders of an eligible TD Aeroplan card can earn up to 2.25 Aeroplan points per dollar on their biggest bills paid through Chexy, including rent, property taxes, insurance, tuition, utilities and condo fees. Chexy is the Canadian platform that lets you pay your bills by credit card, even when the biller doesn’t accept cards. The rate combines the card’s regular earn rate with 1 bonus point per dollar from Chexy, on up to $25,000 in payments in the first year. To take advantage of it, start by opening a Chexy account. The official offer terms have all the details.
Combined with TD’s welcome offer, the promotion can bring your first-year total to 161,000 Aeroplan points with the Visa Infinite Privilege* card. Here are the three eligible cards, their current offers and what the promotion is really worth once fees are taken into account.
The offer at a glance
Maximum rate: up to 2.25 Aeroplan points per dollar
Period: October 15, 2026 to October 14, 2027, for 12 months from the offer start date
Bonus cap: $25,000 in eligible payments, or up to 25,000 bonus points
The total rate depends on which TD Aeroplan card you choose. Card points follow its regular earn rate on everyday purchases, then 1 bonus point per dollar is added:
TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite Privilege* Card: 1.25 points + 1 bonus point = up to 2.25 points per dollar
TD® Aeroplan® Visa Platinum* Card: 1 point per $1.50 + 1 bonus point = up to 1.67 points per dollar

What it’s really worth after the 1.75% fee
Each bill payment carries a 1.75% fee. On $28,800, that’s $504. Using our Aeroplan point valuation of 2¢, here is the net value of the points earned on bills, excluding the welcome offer:
Visa Infinite Privilege*: 61,000 points, about $1,220, or about $716 net
Visa Infinite*: 53,800 points, about $1,076, or about $572 net
Visa Platinum*: 44,200 points, about $884, or about $380 net
Per dollar paid, the estimated net return during the promotion is:
Visa Infinite Privilege*: about 2.75%
Visa Infinite*: about 2.25%
Visa Platinum*: about 1.58%
Beyond $25,000, the bonus stops and only the card’s regular rate applies:
Visa Infinite Privilege*: about 0.75% net
Visa Infinite*: about 0.25% net
Visa Platinum*: a loss of about 0.42%, since the fee exceeds the value of the points
These figures don’t include the card’s annual fee. They are estimates: the real value of an Aeroplan point depends on how you redeem it.

Per the terms, the promotion applies to card applications made from October 15, 2026 using the link provided by Chexy.
The bonus lasts 12 months from the offer start date and applies to up to $25,000 in eligible payments.
The 1.75% fee is non-refundable and is not offset by points.

Which TD Aeroplan card should you choose?
You have large bills and meet the income requirement: the Visa Infinite Privilege* card has the best rate, the biggest welcome offer and lounge access, but its $599 annual fee applies from the first year.
You want the best balance: the Visa Infinite* card earns up to 2 points per dollar on bills and up to 50,000 welcome points, with the annual fee rebated in the first year.
You’re new to Aeroplan: the Visa Platinum* card has no annual fee in the first year, but once you hit the $25,000 cap, paying bills with it costs more than it earns.
Yes. The offer is reserved for new holders of a TD Aeroplan Visa Platinum*, Visa Infinite* or Visa Infinite Privilege* card. It is not available if you have previously held the card.
Where do the points go?
Points earned with the card appear on your monthly TD statement. Bonus points are credited to the Aeroplan account linked to your Chexy profile.
Does my landlord need to sign up?
No. Your landlord or biller keeps getting paid as before, by e-Transfer, direct deposit or cheque. The payment is charged to your credit card.
How much does paying bills cost?
A 1.75% fee applies to each payment. It is non-refundable and is not offset by points.
What happens after $25,000 in payments?
The 1-point-per-dollar bonus stops. You keep earning points at your TD Aeroplan card’s regular rate, but the 1.75% fee makes it barely worthwhile, or a loss with the Visa Platinum*.
How long is the offer valid?
The offer runs from October 15, 2026 to October 14, 2027.
