Wyndham Rewards Adds 40+ Elegant Hotels of the World Luxury Properties to Registry Collection

Wyndham Rewards is adding independent luxury hotels to its Registry Collection brand. On November 2, 2026, Wyndham announced a partnership with HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts, the company behind Elegant Hotels of the World: more than 40 of its hotels will have joined Registry Collection by early 2027, and the first six already appear on Wyndham's official Elegant Hotels of the World page.
For Wyndham Rewards members, this is mostly a new way to use points outside the economy and midscale hotels the chain is known for: Mykonos, Malta, Cartagena, Northern Ireland and Thailand are among the first destinations.
What the Wyndham and HotelREZ Partnership Covers
Registry Collection is Wyndham's luxury brand for independent hotels. Before this deal, it had more than 30 hotels in 9 countries, including Bristol Panama, Hodges Bay Resort & Spa in Antigua and the Balfour Miami Beach.
Hotels joining Registry Collection stay members of Elegant Hotels of the World. They also join Wyndham Rewards, so members can earn and redeem points there.
The rollout happens in stages:
- First hotels: six properties, added the week of November 2, 2026
- By early 2027: more than 40 Elegant Hotels of the World properties in Registry Collection
- After that: more hotels, depending on brand fit, owner participation and onboarding requirements
Many of these are small boutique hotels with 20 to 50 rooms. Expect award availability to be tight on the most popular dates.

Before you book, compare the points price with the cash rate for your dates. A small luxury hotel in high season can cost several hundred dollars a night, which makes a points booking worthwhile. Off season, the math can flip.
Earning: A Detail Worth Knowing
Some Wyndham Rewards members choose to earn airline miles instead of points. At these Elegant Hotels of the World properties, those members earn Wyndham Rewards points instead for qualified stays and Points + Cash nights.
