Wyndham Rewards Launches Homes & Havens: Vacation Homes From 15,000 Points per Bedroom

As of October 29, 2026, Wyndham Rewards members can once again earn and redeem points on vacation homes. The new Homes & Havens platform brings together nearly 800 professionally managed homes and villas, and award nights start at 15,000 points per bedroom, per night.
For Canadian Wyndham Rewards members, it's a new way to use points on a group or family trip. The catch: awards are booked by phone, at least 60 days ahead, and taxes and cleaning fees are paid in cash.
Homes & Havens is the Wyndham Rewards vacation rental platform. Wyndham doesn't own the properties: they're run by specialized partner companies, including Brightwild, Simpson Travel, StayTerra and Thousand Trails.
The launch covers the U.S., the Caribbean, Mexico and Europe. There are no Canadian destinations in the initial collection. Wyndham plans to add hundreds more stays over the coming months, including cabins, yurts and tiny homes.
It fills a gap: Wyndham Rewards had no vacation rental option since its partnership with Vacasa ended.
A qualifying Homes & Havens booking earns 5 Wyndham Rewards points per US dollar spent. Qualifying nights also count toward your next Member Level, Wyndham's version of elite status.
Some properties can be booked online instantly. For select villas, you submit an online reservation request first, then a reservation specialist follows up.
Awards follow a fixed chart, similar to the program's hotel chart. The tier depends on the property's nightly rate per bedroom.
| Tier | Points per bedroom, per night | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Planned tier | 5,000 | Coming as the collection expands |
| Tier 1 | 15,000 | Available at launch |
| Tier 2 | 30,000 | Available at launch |
| Tier 3 | 45,000 | Available at launch |
Keep in mind that pricing is per bedroom. A 3-bedroom home in the 15,000-point tier costs 45,000 points per night.
Wyndham says most properties should be available for redemption, but not all of them.
Award bookings come with stricter rules than a Wyndham hotel:
Cleaning fees on a rental can be steep. Check the cash total before you confirm.
Marriott Bonvoy has offered a similar product for years. Our breakdown of Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy shows what a rental earns there, also 5 points per US dollar.
The big difference is award pricing. With Wyndham's fixed per-bedroom chart, an expensive villa placed in a low tier can deliver a lot of value. On the other hand, the phone-only booking and the 60-day lead time limit flexibility.
To compare the value of a Wyndham point with other chains, see our Wyndham Rewards program page and our hotel loyalty program comparison. The hotel chart also changed this fall: read our article on the Wyndham Rewards devaluation.
Homes & Havens is mostly about group travel: a family reunion, a ski trip with friends, a Caribbean villa. For a couple, a Wyndham hotel room is often simpler to book with points.
Since there are no properties in Canada for now, the appeal is limited to trips abroad, especially down south or in Europe.
If you hold Wyndham Rewards points and are planning a group trip at least 2 months out, browse the homes on Homes & Havens. Work out the full cost: the tier times the number of bedrooms, plus taxes and cleaning fees in cash. On a paid booking, count on 5 points per US dollar.
