To modify or change the dates of your flight ticket, you can do so online on the Air Canada website or with an agent up to two hours before departure. Modification rules vary according to the fare category of your ticket.

How can I change an Air Canada Aeroplan flight without paying any fees?

You must have booked a ticket with Aeroplan’s Flex Economy fare option to change a flight without paying a change fee. This option allows you to make changes free of charge, either before or on the day of your flight. Other fare options may incur change fees, depending on fare category and ticket class.

When can I cancel an Aeroplan reservation with Air Canada?

You can change or cancel your flight ticket up to two hours before departure. However, if you wish to make changes or cancel without charge, we recommend that you do so as soon as possible, especially within 24 hours of booking, to benefit from free cancellation or other advantages depending on your fare category.

You may cancel and receive a full refund of an Aeroplan Reward at NO CHARGE within 24 hours of booking.

How much does it cost to cancel an Aeroplan flight with Air Canada?

Once the 24 hours have passed, the cancellation fee will range from $0 to $175, depending on the fare paid and the method of cancellation.
