To the point MGM hotels will be added to the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio in October, with 17 hotels in Vegas and across the US. Here's an overview of these establishments!

Last week, Marriott International and MGM Resorts announced their new partnership, giving birth to the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy. As we mentioned a few days ago, this collection will include 17 MGM resorts, with over 40,000 rooms in Las Vegas and other U.S. cities.

Starting in October, you’ll be able to book several of these resorts on Marriott’s digital platforms, and all resorts will be available by the end of the year.

They can also be booked through MGM Resorts channels.

Here’s an overview of these 17 MGM resorts.

Use Marriott Bonvoy points at MGM hotels

Many details of this new MGM and Marriott Bonvoy partnership are still to be confirmed. However, it has been reported that Marriott Bonvoy members will be able to link their account to MGM Rewards to obtain certain benefits.

Until the partnership begins in October 2023, the best way to earn Marriott Bonvoy points for free stays at MGM properties is with a credit card linked to the Marriott Bonvoy program. The Marriott Bonvoy® American Express®* Card or the Marriott Bonvoy® Corporate American Express®* Card are the only cards available in Canada.

Another indirect way to earn Marriott Bonvoy points is to use American Express Membership Rewards points.

This type of point is accumulated with cards such as the :

Then simply transfer these Membership Rewards points to the Marriott Bonvoy program. Every 1,000 Membership Rewards points will be converted into 1,200 Marriott Bonvoy points!

Eight MGM resorts in Las Vegas will join the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy :

Vdara Hotel & Spa

TheVdara Hotel is an upscale establishment located in the CityCenter complex, right next to the Strip. Some suites overlook the Strip or the Bellagio’s famous fountains.

Hotel facilities include a luxury spa, fitness center, dog park for travelers with pets, and an outdoor pool complete with cabanas. There’s a Chinese restaurant, a tapas restaurant, a café, a poolside bar and a chic bar. The hotel does not have a casino.

MGM Grand Hotel & Casino

Located at the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip, this immense emerald-colored casino is recognizable by its 45-foot-high bronze lion at the entrance.

The MGM Grand Hotel & Casino‘s modern rooms feature chic furnishings and marble bathrooms. You’ll enjoy 4 pools, 3 whirlpools, a lazy river, a huge casino, live entertainment, nightclubs, a fitness center with spa and numerous gourmet and casual restaurants.

NoMad Las Vegas

This chic hotel-casino is located on the Strip, a 15-minute walk from the Bellagio fountains. The NoMad Las Vegas features an upscale restaurant and an elegant restaurant-bar hosting live jazz for entertaining evenings.

Facilities include an outdoor pool with café-bar, gym, luxury casino for gambling enthusiasts, and a reception hall/showroom for special events.

The Signature at MGM Grand

Comprising three impressive skyscrapers, The Signature at Grand MGM is just a stone’s throw from the Strip. The MGM Grand casino can be reached in just 8 minutes on foot via convenient walkways.

Suites are comfortable and equipped with a kitchenette for added convenience. The establishment offers an elegant lounge, a grocery store, two fitness centers and a private heated pool in each tower. Guests also have access to the MGM Grand’s outdoor pools and beach club.

Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino

The Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino is a luxury establishment on the Las Vegas Strip, with recently renovated modern rooms. It offers an 11-acre water paradise with several pools, a slow-moving river and a poolside play area.

The resort also features a huge sports and entertainment complex, The House of Blues music scene, world-class restaurants, boutiques, a luxurious spa and the Shark Reef aquarium.

Luxor Hotel and Casino

Lively and exotic, the Luxor Hotel & Casino is set in a 29-storey pyramid on the south side of the Las Vegas Strip. The rooms and suites in the pyramid have sloping walls, offering a unique experience.

The resort offers several dining options, a casino, fitness center, spa and outdoor pool.

Excalibur Hotel & Casino

A Camelot-themed hotel-casino, the Excalibur Hotel & Casino is located across from McCarran International Airport, at the southern end of the Strip. It is linked to the neighbouring New York-New York and Tropicana complexes by suspended walkways.

In addition to a lively casino, the resort offers 4 swimming pools, a spa, a fitness room and a video arcade. You’ll also find several lively restaurants, discos and bars, as well as live entertainment, including a medieval dinner show.

Excalibur Hotel & Casino

The New York -New York Hotel & Casino is located between the Park MGM and the Excalibur. Inspired by New York City, it features several towers that replicate the skyline of the famous Big Apple.

The facility offers a variety of attractions, including a roller coaster 60 meters above the Strip, live entertainment, more than a dozen bars and nightclubs, and several restaurants. The establishment has a lively casino with DJs and dancers on weekends.

New York – New York Hotel & Casino

Properties affiliated with existing Marriott brands

Among the 17 MGM resorts joining Marriott Bonvoy, four properties will be affiliated with existing Marriott collections.

Bellagio Resort & Casino

Bellagio Resort & Casino will join The Luxury Collection.

It’s a luxury resort located directly on the Strip. Renowned for its impressive architecture, it is also famous for its dancing fountains.

Its vast casino boasts over 2,000 slot machines and 40 poker tables. The resort boasts a spa, art gallery, 5 outdoor pools and various bars. Shows are also organized.

ARIA Resort & Casino

ARIA Resort & Casino will join the Autograph Collection.

This lavish Strip resort offers a chic casino experience with an upscale steakhouse, Thai restaurant and pizzeria.

There’s also a relaxing spa, three palm-fringed outdoor pools and a luxury shopping mall. Shows are also organized. The rooms are elegantly appointed, and some boast a breathtaking view of the Strip through large picture windows.

Park MGM

Park MGM will be part of the Tribute Portfolio collection.

The Park MGM is a luxury hotel-casino located in the heart of the Strip. The establishment offers several restaurants and bars, ranging from casual to more refined settings. Visitors can enjoy the lively casino, gym and three outdoor pools.

Rooms feature marble bathrooms, and club room guests have access to a private lounge. Suites, which include one- and two-bedroom options, offer additional living space.

Park MGM

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas continues its affiliation with the Autograph Collection .

This elegant hotel-casino is located on the Strip, opposite Planet Hollywood. It overlooks the famous Bellagio fountains.

The establishment boasts several bars and restaurants, including its impressive reception bar, beautifully designed in the form of a crystal chandelier spanning three floors.

In addition to the lively casino, visitors can enjoy many other facilities, including an open-air stage for live entertainment, three outdoor swimming pools, a spa with steam room, a gym, a wedding chapel and even an ice rink open in season.

The new partnership between Marriott International and MGM Resorts is excellent news for members of the Marriott Bonvoy program. They will earn and redeem Marriott Bonvoy points at these 17 MGM hotels.
