Best Western Plus Ajaccio Amirauté – Check-in

We chose to stay at the Best Western Plus Ajaccio Amirauté, as it is near the Napoleon Bonaparte Airport (8mn by car). We will park at the outdoor parking lot near the hotel; an internal parking lot is also available and allows direct access to the reception thanks to its elevator.

The hotel was quite busy when we came; we will wait a little for the check-in and will receive a good welcome. We were in the period of COVID-19 with mandatory mask wearing indoors for adults.

The hotel is modern with a simple and functional style in colors of yellow, brown and blue.

The first floor is organized into several spaces:

• an alley leading to the reception,
• a relaxation area with armchairs and a sofa to rest,
• a workspace with printer and computer,
• the breakfast room, separated from the reception by a library.

Best Western Plus Ajaccio Amirauté – Family Suite

The Best Western Plus Ajaccio Amirauté hotel offers family-friendly rooms. Here are the different types of rooms offered:

• comfortable with a queen size bed
• superior category with a queen size bed
• a Junior Suite with a king bed
• a Family Room with a king bed and two single beds.

We will get the latter.

There are a few essentials in the room such as a mini-refrigerator, a safe, a kettle with instant coffee, bottled water. The space is clean and pleasant.

The bathroom is modern, in sober tones. The space is optimized and functional. Note that hygiene products are offered in large containers.

Best Western Plus Ajaccio Amirauté – Restaurants

Breakfast is offered on the first floor in a cozy space from 6:00 am to 10:00 am from Monday to Friday and from 7:00 am to 11:00 am from Saturday to Sunday. It costs 14 euros per person, 7 euros for children from 7 to 12 years old and free for children under 6 years old.

You can have your meal on the terrace overlooking the pool. Not far away, there is a ping-pong table.

The offer is varied and very correct with its pastries, cereals, cheeses, eggs, cold cuts, yoghurts, etc.

The hotel offers its Beach Western Pool Bar, open daily on the pool terrace from 1:30 pm to 11 pm. You can order sweet and savory dishes.

Finally, next door to the hotel is the Courtepaille restaurant, a family-friendly French classic open daily. It is even possible to have it delivered to your room (at extra cost).

Best Western Plus Ajaccio Amirauté – Pool

One of the advantages of the Best Western Plus Ajaccio Amirauté hotel is that it offers a terrace with a nice outdoor heated swimming pool with a view on the Ajaccio bay as well as a whirlpool bath (reserved to +18 years old).

You can enter by the elevator of the parking lot and the towels are to be requested at the reception.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Ajaccio Amirauté hotel only one night after our arrival by plane and we have very good memories of it. Simple, practical and accessible for families, we recommend it.

The only drawback is that to get to the center of Ajaccio, you will have to take the car.
