My night at the Moxy Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in November 2022 cost me 86 euros. In points, prices range from 16,000 to 21,000 per night. So I chose to pay in cash since the value per point was lower than the one calculated by Milesopedia.

Moxy Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport – Location

The Moxy Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport is located in the hotel area near the airport, just steps away from the free CDGVAL shuttle that connects terminals 1, 2 and 3 of Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG) and the RER B and TGV stations.

To get there by public transportation, I took the metro to the Opera station, then I took the bus that goes directly to the airport. This was my only option since it was late in the evening; you can take the TGV from the Gare du Nord which goes to the airport.

Small confession: I may have visited thirty countries, but my sense of orientation has never really improved. If you’re like me, ask the front desk for directions for the easiest way from the hotel to the entrance for the CDGVAL shuttle. It should take you less than 5 minutes to walk.

I arrived late at night, after midnight, at the Moxy Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport. However, I had already checked in via the Marriott Bonvoy app, and I had a digital key that activated as of midnight on my phone.

So I could have gone straight to my room, but I proceeded with the check-in anyway, which was worth it. To welcome us, the Moxy staff spins a wheel that makes win us different prizes, mainly in the form of drinks and snacks or desserts.

I won a donut and was also given a ticket for a welcome cocktail, which is a tradition at Moxy hotels.

After spending a few days at the Moxy Paris Bastille, I was happy to find that the room was much more spacious in their airport hotel. This is quite logical if you compare the space available near the airport with that in the heart of a major European city.

As indicated in my preferences, I was given a room on the top floor. The decoration was modern and quite minimalist, and the bed was very comfortable.

In the bedroom, there was an armchair, a flat screen smart TV, and various plugs (European and USB) near the bed. The bathroom included a shower with Muk products and a hair dryer. There were no coffee machines or desks to work at, but they are found in the common areas, as they were in the other two Moxy hotels I visited in Europe.

Breakfast was not included in my night, but know that it is available at the hotel as a buffet. You can also order snacks, drinks and cocktails from the Moxy Bar all day long; service is available from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. If you’re in a hurry, you can get snacks, drinks and even meals at the 24/7 Grab and Go located right next to the reception.

A station with microwave and condiments is also available to heat up your meals.

You’ll have plenty of choices for seating, whether at the bar or at the many tables set up throughout the open-plan first floor.

Moxy Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport – Coworking

My only disappointment with the Moxy Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport is that I didn’t stay there during the week; I would have loved to work in this spacious and work-friendly place. In addition to the three available meeting rooms, there are plenty of tables and fast Wi-Fi available.

I always appreciate Moxy hotels for their decoration: young, modern, vibrant, and friendly. Although the first floor contains both the reception, bar and common areas, the space is configured to offer enough tranquility for those who need to work.

The glass walls offer a lot of natural light and a pleasant atmosphere. The common areas offer everything you need to pass the time before your flight: magazines, board games, table soccer, etc.

An outdoor terrace is also available to get some fresh air before spending many hours at the airport and on the plane. However, there is no pool offered at this hotel. There is even a table giving the status of flights, which can be very useful to get information in case of a delayed flight.

A workout or stretching session is always good before or after a flight. The Moxy Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport offers a fitness room with cardio machines, free weights and even a punching bag for boxing enthusiasts.

Moxy Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport – My general impression

The Moxy Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport is a great stop for travelers who arrive late at night, or need to catch an early morning flight. The price per night is much lower than the hotels in the center of Paris, so you can save on accommodation.

I recommend this hotel for business travelers and digital nomads who appreciate coworking spaces, couples and young travelers who want to enjoy a break before starting or ending their European adventure.
