Here is my photo report from The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm, a category seven Marriott Bonvoy hotel and why I recommend staying there!
I remember the first time I came to Dubai in 2015 when they were advertising the first observatory with a full view of the Palmeraie. I told myself that I should see this one day and it was during my stay at the St-Regis that I had this opportunity, seven years later!
The first observatory is attached to the St-Regis and by presenting our room card we got a 20% discount on the price.
Location
The hotel is located 35.5 km from the Dubai International Airport (DXB) approximately 24 minutes away; at the base of the Jumeirah palm grove.
It has the advantage of being directly accessible from the Nakheel Mall metro station, located in the mall of the same name.
Marriott Bonvoy’s two other properties on the Palm Court (W Dubai – The Palm and Aloft Palm Jumeirah Dubai) are located on either end of the Palm Court.

The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm is a Marriott Bonvoy category seven hotel, available from 50,000 points per night or $367 CAD + tax at the time of my stay.

The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm offers eight types of rooms:

- Family room, with a connecting room, one king bed and two single beds
- Grand Deluxe Suite, one King bed, sea view
- Metropolitan Suite, one king bed, sea view
- Astor Suite, one King bed, sea view
- Presidential Suite, one king bed and two single beds, sea view
- Grand Deluxe Suite, one King bed, sea view

As you can see from the pictures, the rooms are very clean and equipped with marble furniture with gold touches that remind us that Dubai is “the city of gold”!
My suite had a separate living room from the bedroom with a panoramic view.
Lastly, a shower room is available for guests.
Hotel services
The breakfast offered is complete and the quality of the products is very high. You can experience the“French Touch” here! French gastronomy is known to be one of the best in the world!
Moreover, all the cheeses are imported from France, along with the yogurts and many other products!
If you prefer to dine in more affordable restaurants, this hotel is conveniently located with direct access to the Nakheel Mall where you’ll find Asian restaurants on the ground floor (G) and American chain restaurants on the second floor (L2).
The hotel also offers a seafood restaurant, Cordelia, tea service at Her by Caroline Astor, and two bars: Dip Pool Bar and The St. Regis Bar.
The St-Regis has two pools on each side of the building, and the beach chairs are very comfortable! There is also a jacuzzi near one of the pools.
The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm also has a fitness room.
You can access the white sandy beaches of West Beach from the back of the hotel. Even though the beach isn’t part of the hotel, all guests have access to it and few people go which contributes to the peaceful atmosphere at the St-Regis.
The St-Regis offers a champagne ceremony as in all the St-Regis elsewhere!
My general impression of the hotel
In short, for its location at the base of the Palmeraie, the comfort of the room, and the very classy interior decoration, The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm is a hotel that will appeal to those who want a peaceful and quiet vacation!
