The Aloft Dubai Airport is a modern and dynamic hotel, ideally located for travellers in transit or those wishing to explore Dubai. Here’s my review of this establishment, where I stayed for one night during a connecting flight to Dubai DXB.
Aloft Dubai Airport offers very attractive rates, both in cash and in Marriott Bonvoy points. Reservations can be made easily online or via the Marriott Bonvoy app.
During my stay, one night cost AED 221 (about CAD 70) or 19,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. I decided to pay for my night.

Located just 0.5 km from Dubai International Airport (DXB), this hotel is perfectly placed for travellers in transit, as was my case.
It also offers easy access to popular Dubai attractions such as Dubai Mall, Burj Khalifa, Gold Souk and La Mer.
The Aloft Dubai Airport hotel offers a check-in service via the Marriott Bonvoy app and mobile key to make guests’ arrival easier.
My flight from Nice arrived late, so the mobile key meant I didn’t have to go to reception.
As in all Aloft hotels, a pool table and foosball table are available at the reception area.
The Aloft Dubai Airport hotel has 230 rooms offering:
Staying with my mother, we opted for two single beds. The room was very colourful!
This room was large, with a sofa (not very comfortable) and a desk.
The bathroom is well laid out, as is often the case in Aloft hotels, with a wardrobe/sink area and a shower/tub/toilet area at the far end.
My mother liked the little seat for applying make-up: practical!
Several dining options are available at the Aloft Dubai Airport hotel:
The buffet breakfast was well stocked, with predominantly Indian flavours, catering to the hotel’s regular clientele.
Of course, there are also Middle Eastern and Western options.
A rather pleasant courtyard is available and has the advantage of being shaded.
On the roof of the Aloft Dubai Airport hotel, there is a pool. However, there are few lounge chairs available.
Last but not least, the Aloft Dubai Airport hotel’s gym has a good surface area and a variety of equipment. I particularly appreciated the brightness provided by the large bay windows.
The hotel offers a free shuttle service to:
Aloft Dubai Airport is an excellent choice for travellers looking for convenient, modern accommodation near the airport.
Its dynamic atmosphere, quality facilities and proximity to Dubai’s main attractions make it an attractive option, especially at this price.
The free shuttle service to key sites is a real plus. However, as with any airport hotel, a certain level of noise from air traffic is to be expected.
