Offre BonPlan Aéroplan : 10 000 points remis sur vos hôtels (HOTEL626, jusqu'au 22 juin)
To the point Get 10,000 Aeroplan points back on hotel bookings of 50,000 points or more with promo code HOTEL626, until June 22, 2026.

From June 10 to 22, 2026, Aeroplan gave back 10,000 points on hotel bookings paid with your points, provided you used promo code HOTEL626. Here, for reference, is how the offer worked and the value breakdown, useful if a similar promotion returns.

What the HOTEL626 Offer Changed

The Aeroplan HotelSavers program lets you book hotel nights directly with your points, without transferring to a hotel chain. During the promotion, Aeroplan gave back 10,000 points as soon as your cart reached 50,000 points redeemed.

  • Rebate: 10,000 Aeroplan points back.
  • Eligibility threshold: hotel booking of 50,000 points or more.
  • Promo code: HOTEL626, applied at checkout.
  • Booking window: June 10 to 22, 2026 (June 22, 11:59 PM PST).
  • Application: the discount applies automatically as soon as the cart exceeds 50,000 points.
  • Stacking: combinable with the Aeroplan 4th night free benefit.
  • Reuse: the code can be used on several separate bookings.

One nuance to keep in mind: depending on the establishment, certain local taxes and resort fees are still collected directly by the hotel upon arrival. Check the details before confirming.

What It’s Actually Worth

Our internal estimate places the Aeroplan point at around 2 cents in target value. Based on this, here is the breakdown.

ItemValue
Points redeemed (minimum threshold)50,000 points
Points back with HOTEL62610,000 points
Actual net cost of the booking40,000 points
Effective discount20%
Value of points back (at 2 cents)approx. $200

In other words, a 50,000-point booking effectively costs you 40,000 points. This is a 20% discount at the 50,000-point threshold. Since the rebate is a fixed amount of 10,000 points, the percentage decreases beyond that: about 10% on a 100,000-point booking. If you add the 4th night free, the savings climb even higher on stays of four nights or more.

Who the Offer Is Good For

  • You were already planning to pay for a hotel with points this summer and your cart reaches 50,000 points.
  • You are planning a stay of four nights or more and want to stack the 4th night free.
  • You have a comfortable Aeroplan balance and are looking for a good value use without transferring.
  • You have two separate trips in mind and can reuse the code on each.

Conversely, if the points booking seems overvalued compared to the cash rate, the offer does not correct this imbalance. Always compare the cash rate before redeeming. Our advice: only book if you were going to use your points for this hotel anyway.

Earning Points to Take Advantage

Don’t quite have 50,000 points on the clock? Aeroplan credit cards remain the fastest way to build a balance, thanks to their welcome bonuses. The TD® Aeroplan® Visa Infinite* Card currently offers up to 40,000 Aeroplan points, the American Express® Aeroplan®* Reserve Card goes up to 150,000 points, and the CIBC Aeroplan Card completes the trio of Air Canada partner issuers.
