7,000 welcome miles: how you actually earn them
The offer is called "7 000 Free Welcome Miles", but the miles arrive in two steps:
- When you join: 3,000 welcome miles, credited automatically once your membership is approved
- After you fly: 4,000 miles, credited after 2 round trips on Royal Air Maroc flights
- Enrolment window: November 1 to November 30, 2026, inclusive
Fraudulent or duplicate registrations can lose the bonus. If a first trip to Morocco is on your calendar, sign up before November 30, 2026 and add your Safar Flyer number to every booking.
50% bonus Status Miles
Royal Air Maroc is offering 50% extra Status Miles to help members keep their current tier or reach the next one faster. The bonus is calculated on the base Status Miles credited, on eligible flights operated during the promotional period.
Watch the dates: the offer description refers to flights between December 1 and December 31, 2026, while the terms cover trips taken between November 1 and December 31, 2026. December 2026 flights are covered in both versions. For a November flight, keep your boarding pass and check your account statement once the miles post.
30% off award tickets
The 30% discount applies to the mileage rates of award tickets. Here are the conditions:
- Purchase period: November 1 to November 30, 2026
- Travel period: November 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, excluding December 11, 2026 to January 17, 2027
- Destinations: only destinations selected for the promotion, domestic flights excluded
- Cabins: Economy Class and Business Class
- Seats: promotional award tickets are limited and subject to availability
Taxes, airport fees and carrier surcharges remain payable by the passenger. The discount lowers the miles you need, not the cash portion.

Flying from Montreal: what to check
Royal Air Maroc flies between Montreal and Casablanca. The welcome miles and the Status Miles bonus apply to the airline's eligible flights, with no city restriction stated in the terms.
The 30% discount is different. It only covers selected destinations, and the offer page does not list them. Before counting on it for Montreal–Casablanca, search your route in your Safar Flyer account and compare the mileage price with the usual rate.
What about Avios?
Royal Air Maroc is a oneworld member, so The British Airways Club members can look for award seats on its flights with Avios. The 30% discount, however, only applies to award tickets booked with Safar Flyer miles, and Safar Flyer miles and Avios cannot be combined.
