Overview
Privilège is the loyalty program of Avril Supermarchés Santé. There are 10 of them in Quebec, in addition to the online site avril.ca where you can shop.
Join the Privilège program
You can join Avril’s Privilège program at the checkout in Avril supermarkets. You may be asked for ID along with your date of birth. Membership is free. You will be issued a card that must be activated:
- online by answering « yes » to the question « do you have a Privilège card? »;
- or using a membership form which you should send to the following address :

You can also register directly online. A virtual card will be issued when you create an online account. You will then need to print it to present it at the checkout in-store for your future purchases.
Accumulate Avril dollars
In-store presentation of the Avril Privilege card at the cash register is mandatory to earn Avril dollars and presented before the transaction’s end. The barcode must be scanned each time. Online, you can use your virtual card if you don’t have a physical card.
You earn one percent (1%) of the value of purchases (before taxes) online or in-store, and two percent (2%) on Avril private-label products. Limited-time promotions may also offer a multiplier (for example 5x) on certain targeted items.
The program also lets you collect “daisies” by reaching certain spending thresholds by category: $150 in fruits and vegetables, $300 in groceries, $250 in supplements, $150 in beauty and $150 at the bistro. Completing all the daisies in a category gives you a bonus of 2 Avril dollars, and completing your account profile also gives you an initial bonus of 2 Avril dollars.
Your Avril account will be automatically credited with your Avril dollars after the transaction.
Using your Avril dollars
One Avril dollar is equivalent to $1 CAD and can be used directly in-store or online, with no minimum redemption threshold, except for the purchase of gift cards (excluded). Your Avril dollars remain valid as long as your account stays active: if no transaction is made (no dollars earned or redeemed) for 24 consecutive months, the full balance is cancelled.
The status
There is no status in the Privilège Avril rewards program.

Gift cards are excluded from the program. Present your card or your online account at checkout to validate earning on each transaction.
Are there statuses or levels in the Marguerite (Avril Privilege) program?
No, there are no statuses or levels in the program. All members earn Avril dollars and marguerites at the same rates, regardless of their purchase history. One-time bonuses (such as a birthday bonus or for completing a profile) may be added, but they are offered to all members rather than being reserved for a specific status.
Do Avril dollars expire?
Avril dollars do not have a fixed expiration date. They remain valid as long as your account stays active. If no transaction occurs (no dollars earned or redeemed) for 24 consecutive months, your account becomes inactive and the entire balance of Avril dollars and marguerites is then cancelled.
