Overview
The FLX rewards program from Foot Locker lets you earn points on your purchases of footwear, apparel, and sporting goods, redeemable for FLX Cash certificates. The company has approximately 3,000 stores in 27 countries. It has an online site and an app that can be downloaded from Google Play or the App Store.
Earning points
To take advantage of FLX benefits at Foot Locker, you must first open a free account. Each of your purchases, excluding gift cards, can be recorded there:
- online when you check out,
- in-store by providing your phone number to the employee at the cash register.
You earn 100 points per dollar spent, on top of benefiting from:
- a coupon for $10 off a future purchase of $50,
- birthday discounts,
- early access to sales.
Redeeming points
FLX points are redeemed for FLX Cash certificates: 15,000 points = $5, 30,000 points = $10, 60,000 points = $20. You can also use your points for Xtra Boosts, which improve your odds of securing a pair through limited-release drawings.
The status
The FLX program has three tiers based on your annual spending: X1 ($0 to $249), X2 ($250 to $499), and X3 ($500 and up).
Higher tiers unlock:
- a special welcome offer,
- access to exclusive events and gifts,
- rewards based on the amount spent.

How many Foot Locker points do I get per dollar?
Foot Locker’s FLX program lets you earn 100 points per dollar spent, redeemable for FLX Cash certificates and other benefits based on your tier.
How do you redeem FLX points at Foot Locker?
FLX points are redeemed in tiers: 15,000 points = $5, 30,000 points = $10, and 60,000 points = $20, as a certificate applicable to your next purchase at Foot Locker, Champs Sports, or Kids Foot Locker, in-store or online. Certificates are issued automatically to your FLX account once you reach a threshold. At 100 points per dollar spent, the effective return works out to roughly 3.3% (15,000 points from $150 in spending = $5). You can also use your points for Xtra Boosts, which improve your odds of securing a pair through limited-release drawings.
What are the X1, X2, and X3 FLX tiers?
The FLX program has three tiers based on annual spending: X1 ($0 to $249), which gives access to base point redemption and ongoing promotions; X2 ($250 to $499), which grants early access to select launches and enhanced perks; and X3 ($500 and up), which unlocks the most generous benefits, including priority access to limited releases and VIP events. Your tier is reassessed every year based on the previous period’s spending.
How can I improve my odds of getting a limited-edition pair with FLX?
For limited-quantity pairs (Jordan, Nike Dunk, Yeezy, and other highly sought-after launches), Foot Locker uses a drawing system rather than a first-come, first-served sale. The Xtra Boosts mechanism lets you use your accumulated FLX points to improve your odds of being selected in these drawings. Watch the launch calendar in the Foot Locker app and turn on notifications so you don’t miss a chance to use your Xtra Boosts.
