Organizer and partner
Milesopedia runs the contest, hereinafter "the Organizer", in partnership with soNomad, hereinafter "the Partner". The Partner offers the prize.
The Organizer fully administers the contest, including the selection of the winner. The Partner's only responsibility is to offer the prize.
Only entries received between the opening and closing times above are eligible.
Who can enter
The contest is open to anyone who meets both of the following conditions at the time of entry:
- lives in Canada;
- has reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence.
Employees, directors, representatives and agents of the Organizer and the Partner cannot enter. This exclusion also covers their immediate family members, the people they live with and their legal representative.
How to enter
Entry is completely free. No purchase, paid subscription or expense is required. You can enter in two ways, and both give you exactly the same chance of winning.
Entry by form
Enter your email address in the entry form published in the contest article on milesopedia.com. Your entry is confirmed on screen as soon as you submit the form. By submitting the form, you also agree to receive the Milesopedia newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time without affecting your entry. Form entries received before October 21, 2026, 11:10 a.m. Eastern Time, are not signed up for the newsletter.
Entry on social media
Comment the word SONOMAD under the contest post on Milesopedia's Instagram or Facebook account. An automatic private message then asks for your email address. Your entry is confirmed once you send that address.
By sending your email address in this private message, you also agree to receive the Milesopedia newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time without affecting your entry.
Entry limit
The Organizer accepts one entry per person for the entire contest, regardless of the number of comments, forms or platforms used. Duplicate entries are merged into one.
By entering, you confirm that you have read these rules and agree to comply with them.
The prize
The Partner offers a single prize: an Air Canada gift card worth $1,500 CAD.
You must accept the prize as awarded. It cannot be transferred, exchanged for cash or replaced with another prize. However, if the announced prize becomes unavailable, the Organizer may replace it with a prize of equal or greater value.
The prize remains subject to Air Canada gift card terms. Air Canada does not sponsor and is not associated with this contest. Any fees, taxes and other costs related to using the prize are the winner's responsibility.
Draw
The Organizer holds the draw on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, among all eligible entries received, with one chance per person. A computer process makes the selection at random.
Your odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the contest.
Claiming the prize
The Organizer notifies the selected person on the day of the draw, by private message on the platform used to enter or by email. That person must reply within 48 hours and meet the following three conditions:
- confirm that they meet the eligibility conditions, including their age and province of residence;
- sign the declaration and consent form sent by the Organizer;
- provide the contact details needed to deliver the prize.
If the selected person does not reply within 48 hours, declines the prize or is not eligible, the Organizer holds a new draw among the remaining entries.
The winner then receives by email the instructions for receiving their gift card. The prize is delivered within 30 days of receipt of the signed form.
Announcing the winner
By accepting the prize, the winner authorizes the Organizer and the Partner to publish their first name, the initial of their last name and city of residence, without compensation or further notice.
The Partner may also ask the winner for a photo. Providing a photo is optional and does not affect delivery of the prize.
The winner's name is published on the Events and Contests page of milesopedia.com.
Personal information
The Organizer collects your information to run the contest, confirm your eligibility, award the prize and send you its newsletter. It does not sell it.
The Organizer does not share your information with the Partner, except for the winner's contact details needed to deliver the prize.
You can unsubscribe from the Milesopedia newsletter at any time using the link provided in each message.

By entering, you release the Organizer, the Partner, their employees and their agents from any liability related to the contest and the prize.
Changes and cancellation
The Organizer reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel the contest in whole or in part if fraud, a technical failure, human error or any other factor compromises its proper running. It may then hold the draw among the eligible entries received up to the interruption.
