DeSerres stores offered the DeSerres Creative Club loyalty program.
Earning Points
Membership in the DeSerres Creative Club loyalty program was free and allowed you to earn 1 point for every Canadian dollar of net purchase before taxes, both in-store and online. So a $25.30 purchase earned 25.30 points.
Exclusive promotions were also offered based on the member’s profile, and each first purchase was rewarded with 100 bonus points.
Point accumulation excluded gift cards, courses and workshops.
How can I become a member of the DeSerres Creative Club?
To become a Club member, certain conditions had to be met:
- if a minor, be at least 14 years old and have obtained consent from a parent or guardian;
- Have a valid email address.
Membership applications could be made online or in-store. A « Creative Club Card » membership card was issued to those who applied in-store, with a unique ID number allowing access to their online account and activation through an online form at www.deserres.ca to start accumulating DeSerres Points.
Members who subscribed online did not receive a physical card. They had to use their membership number for their purchases.
Using points
The redemption value was $0.02. For 250 points accumulated, you got $5.
You needed to have 250 points to start redeeming them, in-store only:
- 250 points = $5
- 750 points = $15
- 1,500 points = $30
- 5,000 points = $100
Points were neither transferable nor redeemable for cash, and could not be assigned or sold.
Creative Club statutes
Statuses were actually member categories:
- Regular member
- Student Member
- Associations
- Partners
DeSerres also suspended enrollment in the Associations and Partners tier of the program at the beginning of 2025, before the complete suspension of the program announced in March 2025.
Benefits included:
- 100 bonus points when the online profile was completed within the first 14 days following membership and a first purchase;
- 10% discount for certain statuses, online or in-store, on a selection of regular-priced products only;
- personalized offers, contests and promotions based on the member’s profile.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the DeSerres Creative Club program still active?
No. DeSerres announced on March 3, 2025 the permanent suspension of the program, effective within the following 60 days (around May 3, 2025). It is no longer possible to register, accumulate or redeem points today.
How many Creative Club points did you get per dollar?
As long as the program was active, each dollar spent gave one Creative Club point, redeemable at a rate of $0.02 per point (250 points = $5).
What statuses were offered to DeSerres Creative Club members?
The program had four member categories: Regular, Student, Associations and Partners.
