La Ronde, owned by entertainment giant Six Flags since 2001, is the largest amusement park in Quebec and the second-largest seasonal amusement park in North America.
Nestled on Saint Helen’s Island at Parc Jean-Drapeau, in the middle of the majestic St. Lawrence River, this park offers a breathtaking view of the city of Montreal.
Since its opening in 1967 during the World’s Fair, La Ronde has evolved into a popular tourist destination for visitors to Montreal.
La Ronde tickets or passports must be purchased online via the La Ronde website. There are no ticket sales at the park entrance. Therefore, you must plan accordingly.
Admission is free for children under 2 years old.

Starting in 2026, the Gold and Prestige passports now provide access to Village Vacances Valcartier, Calypso, and Wet’n’Wild Toronto water parks all summer long, replacing the previous cross-park ticket for Canada’s Wonderland.
Six Flags sold La Ronde to real estate company EPR Properties in spring 2026 for $466 million. However, the Six Flags brand, passports, and pricing remain unchanged for the entire 2026 season.

The weekday ticket (valid Monday to Thursday) is $41.99, and $44.99 for the weekend (Friday to Sunday).
The AIR MILES program became Blue Rewards, under BMO’s management, as of June 2, 2026. Your miles were automatically converted to Blue Rewards points at a rate of 1 mile for 16 points, with no loss of value.
The previous La Ronde ticket offer for Dream miles is no longer accessible at its original address since the transition. Check directly in the Blue Rewards catalog to see if an equivalent offer is available before planning your visit with your points.

For the 2026 season, La Ronde is open weekends from May 16 to June 7, daily from June 12 to August 28, then weekends until November 1. During the summer, the park stays open until 10 PM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, until 9 PM on Sundays, and until 11:30 PM on Loto-Québec fireworks nights.
Before going on a ride, check the minimum height requirement. If a person is too short, they will not be allowed on the ride.
The flagship attraction at La Ronde is Le Monstre. It is one of the highest wooden roller coasters in the world, offering a quite memorable adrenaline rush.
The Goliath ride, another roller coaster, is located at the far end of the park. It is built of steel, and the train propels its passengers at 170 km/h with a force of 4G!
The Titan is a ride that resembles a giant pendulum! It spins, rises, and falls up to 45 meters in the air at a speed of 112 km/h.
The Ednör is another style of roller coaster where the passenger is suspended from above with their feet dangling.
The classic Boomerang starts by going backward, and when it is far enough, the train is released to be projected forward… then backward again!
Next, the most popular and beloved are the Vampire, the Toboggan Nordique, and the Dragon.

Numerous restaurants are available for visitors. The traditional and delicious BeaverTails are there, as well as Chinese, Mexican, Italian, and American cuisine.
One of the best restaurants is Rolopan, near Ednör, which serves delicious savory and sweet crepes. Another is Sabra, with its charcoal grills.
Since 2019, La Ronde Montreal has been associated with the Coca-Cola Company. Therefore, you will only see this brand of beverage throughout the park, such as Dasani water bottles, Sprite, Nestea, Minute Maid, Fanta, Icee, etc.
Refill stations are located at the main entrance and at Fort Edmonton.
Welch’s offers a variety of products at La Ronde Montreal, such as Welch’s fruit juices, smoothies, and ice cream.
Please note that food from outside the park, beverages, and coolers are not permitted at La Ronde.
La Ronde can be accessed via two metro stations.
Bus 767 runs from Jean-Drapeau station to the La Ronde entrance. Additionally, bus 769 picks up visitors at Papineau station and drops them off at La Ronde.
By car, take the Jacques Cartier Bridge, take the Parc Jean-Drapeau exit, and follow the signs for parking P8.

Certain rides must be closed during thunderstorms, lightning, heavy rain, or high winds. However, the vast majority of restaurants and shops remain open.

La Ronde is for everyone! However, check the height requirements for the rides before heading to the site.
Admission is free for the entire season for children under 3 years old, if they are that age on La Ronde’s opening day. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
