The bride and groom are finished fans.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;47240&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_column_text]So much for the wedding report.[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading el_id=&#8221;visiting_portland_maine&#8221; text=&#8221;Visiting Portland, Maine&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h3|text_align:left&#8221; google_fonts=&#8221;&#8221;][vc_column_text]Portland is a city of 60,000 inhabitants that lives first from tourism. The waterfront is easily accessible thanks to a lively harbour.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;47242&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_column_text]The tourist office is located there and both sea and land excursions leave there.<\/p>\n<p>The Eastern and Western walks allow you to walk this seaside pleasantly. The second leads to the park of the same name where several summer shows and festivities take place.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, the shops and restaurants staying in former warehouses on and around the commercial street are inviting.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;47244&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_column_text]Portland est aussi un port de p\u00eache actif et les l\u00e8ve-t\u00f4t, peuvent assister aux d\u00e9parts des bateaux de p\u00eache le matin.<\/p>\n<p>D\u00e9sol\u00e9e, je n\u2019y suis pas arriv\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Les occasions de d\u00e9guster de bonnes bi\u00e8res abondent. Au total, une trentaine de brasseurs. Il existe m\u00eame un tour guid\u00e9 de certaines d\u2019entre elles.<\/p>\n<p>Le restaurant \u00ab <a title=\"Fore Street restaurant\" href=\"https:\/\/milesopedia.com\/en\/go\/fore-street-restaurant\/\">Fore Street<\/a> \u00bb est sur toutes les l\u00e8vres si vous avez le budget correspondant.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Nous avons plut\u00f4t opt\u00e9 pour le \u00ab <a title=\"Eventide Oysters Company\" href=\"https:\/\/milesopedia.com\/en\/go\/eventide-oysters-company\/\">Eventide Oysters Company<\/a> \u00bb mais avec une heure d\u2019attente et impossibilit\u00e9 de r\u00e9server nous nous sommes finalement tourn\u00e9es entre autres vers le \u00ab <a title=\"East Ender\" href=\"https:\/\/milesopedia.com\/en\/go\/east-ender\/\">East Ender<\/a> \u00bb et le <a title=\"Old Port Sea Grill\" href=\"https:\/\/milesopedia.com\/en\/go\/old-port-sea-grill\/\">Old Port Sea Grill<\/a> \u00bb.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;47246&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_column_text]We recommend both of them. Animals are also allowed; we saw several owners with their dogs on a leash.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;47260&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_column_text]We were also told that Residence inn is often chosen for extended stays, the hotel offers a free grocery ordering service.<\/p>\n<p>Forms to this effect are left in the rooms.[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=&#8221;47262&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221;][vc_column_text]In short, it was a beautiful six days of work and mother-daughter discovery. A foretaste, indeed, since I would like to explore some aspects of the city in further detail.<\/p>\n<p>I promise, next time, I&#8217;ll get up early enough to see the fishermen leave the harbour in
