We first stayed at the The Westin Tokyo.<\/a> As a member Marriott Bonvoy<\/a>, we wanted to find a central hotel for the end of our stay, one that was a member of the group, had an executive lounge and complimentary breakfast, and was convenient for our trip to Disney Tokyo. Located in a lively business district, the Marriott Tokyo Hotel offers easy access to Haneda airport (11 km) and the city center. An airport shuttle service is available at regular times at a cost of JPY 720 per trip. You can get there by bus or cab.<\/p>\n

On-site parking is available for JPY 600 per hour or JPY 2,000 per day. Charges are available for electric cars. We took this option having rented a car on the last day to continue our road trip to Fuji, Osaka and Kyoto.<\/p>\n

Once parked, we took the elevator to the check-in counter: you have to cross a long corridor which at the end leads to the entrance of the building; the counter is halfway up, in a room off to the side. A sofa faces the entrance to this room, and a little further down the corridor, a space with a cash dispenser and a printer separated by a smoked glass wall. The space serves as an office, I think.<\/p>\n
