The Moxy Lisbon City<\/a> Hotel is located near the Eduardo VII Park and the Parque, Saldanha and Marqu\u00eas de Pombal metro stations. From Lisbon Airport (LIS), it takes about 15 minutes by cab. Or 25 to 30 minutes by metro (Saldanha station).<\/p>\n

The Moxy brand targets a young and dynamic clientele. Thus, as soon as you enter the lobby of the Moxy Lisbon City<\/a> hotel, you are struck by the very colourful design.<\/p>\n

Numerous cushions are placed on the floor, equipped with USB \/ electrical connections.<\/p>\n

A soccer table and a shared work table (also with multiple connections) face the lobby. It is a bit like a high-end hostel.<\/p>\n

A tradition in Moxy hotels: a welcome cocktail is offered at the bar, integrated into the reception (we had already seen this at the Moxy Osaka in Japan<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Travelling with a friend, we opted for a room with two single beds. The room is clean and relatively bright, and its size is per the European standard (= small).<\/p>\n

A sizeable smart TV is mounted on the wall, and all connections (USB, electrical) are naturally easily accessible. Also, note the large brown cushions that serve as a headboard. So you can work from your bed.<\/p>\n

Or, use the small retractable shelf and your bed as a chair. This room is not necessarily made for lingering during the day. And that’s why the communal areas are thought of more under the concept of co-working.<\/p>\n

The bathroom is functional, with a large shower. There is a good point about refillable bottles instead of disposable ones.<\/p>\n

Breakfast is in the form of a buffet. The cost is 10 euros per person. As a Titanium member, a 10 euro coupon is offered per day for food, which covers breakfast (otherwise, you can choose to have 500 points).<\/p>\n

Breakfast is served on large communal tables or a few tables for two people. We note that the guests are composed of young adults and families.<\/p>\n

We find the classics of a breakfast: scrambled eggs, ham, different types of bread, croissants, Pasteis de Natas, fruits, yogurts, and cereals. Note also the presence of a microwave (appreciated for families).<\/p>\n

On the top floor of the hotel, there is a swimming pool with a beautiful view of the city. It was not functional at the time of my visit due to the temperature.<\/p>\n

Behind the reception is an outdoor terrace, accessible from the communal workroom.<\/p>\n
