With a cost of around $500USD\/night for a room, we were happy to take Marriott Bonvoy points<\/strong> – obtained notably with ®<\/sup> Card\" href=\"https:\/\/milesopedia.com\/en\/credit-cards\/marriott-bonvoy-american-express-card\/\">the Marriott BonvoyTM American ExpressMD<\/sup> Card<\/a> – to pay for our stay.[\/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”75135″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_single_image image=”75137″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text]When we booked last February, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Key West at The Keys<\/a> Collection was the last Category 5 hotel in Key West (everything else was Category 6 and above) with the lowest point requirement.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]That was the only reason we chose it. Marriott has since increased its category to 6 and a room there could be booked for 60,000 points per night, as we were there during the holidays (high season). Winking at my youngest son, he said he would make cookies later and to come back for some.
