Actually, you can earn points for:

• your eligible purchases at the hotel:
  • Meals
  • Drinks
  • Golf course
  • Spa treatments
  • …

You will earn:

• 10 points per US dollar spent on eligible expenses at most hotels in the group
• 5 points per US dollar spent on eligible expenses at Element, Residence Inn and TownePlace Suites hotels
• 2.5 points per US dollar spent on eligible expenses at Marriott Executive Appartment and ExecuStay hotels

Earn Marriott Bonvoy points by booking Marriott Moments activities

Marriott Moments is an activity booking portal:

• Guided tours
• Culinary tours
• Tickets for points of interest (museums…)
• Tickets for amusement parks
• Tickets for shows / theatres / sports events…
• Classes
• …

Points are earned at a rate of 10 points per US dollar spent.

For example, in the case below, you can earn 1,090 points for booking a tour that costs US$109.

Earn Marriott Bonvoy points through car rentals

Marriott Bonvoy is partnered with Hertz for car rentals.

The amount of points you earn will vary according to several factors: location, duration, type of vehicle… In addition, you will get a discount of up to 35%. You must add the following two codes when booking: CDP #154080 / PC #204476

For example, you could earn…

• 3,000 points per booking of at least 5 days
• 2,000 points per booking of 2 to 4 days

These rentals must take place in the United States, Canada, Europe, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Australia or New Zealand.

Bookings must be done on the Marriott Moments platform.

Earn Marriott Bonvoy points with cruises

You can earn 3 points per dollar spent on cruise bookings (up to 30,000 points) through Cruises Only for Marriott Bonvoy.

Earn Marriott Bonvoy points via events at group hotels

Marriott Bonvoy’s Rewarding Events program allows you to earn points for organizing events (meetings, weddings, etc.) in most of the group’s hotels.

2 points can be earned for every US dollar spent on eligible venue, catering and AV expenses (up to a maximum of 60,000 points per event and up to 105,000 points for Premier Platinum members).

In addition, you can get 10 Elite eligible nights (only for the first meeting). And 1 eligible night for every 20 additional nights you book, up to 20 eligible nights per contract.

Earn Marriott Bonvoy points via credit cards

Finally, the easiest way to earn Marriott Bonvoy points in Canada is via credit cards, in two ways: directly and indirectly.

American Express offers two credit cards linked to the Marriott Bonvoy program:
