Our review of the ANA Arrivals Lounge in Tokyo Narita

This lounge is located before security, so you will have to pass security, even if you are connecting from an international flight (so spend time on this).

Into the entrance of the lounge are Japanese newspapers and magazines.

And immediately on the right, a workspace for those who want to use their computer.

In the opposite is a storeroom to depose your carry-on baggage if you wish.

This living room is all in length. Although it is well lit – helped in this by choice of materials – the lack of external brightness is a big negative for me.

Two well-separated parts:

  • At the entrance, the buffet/dining area
  • Followed by different relaxation areas

The living room side

At the back of the living room are large club chairs, all equipped with electrical outlets.

We will decide to settle into these chairs to eat and work. As you can see, this lounge is rather quiet in the morning.

Showers

After a night on the plane, there’s nothing like a pleasant shower to invigorate yourself! We had immediate access to showers, which are of very high quality.

Toiletries are, of course, provided.

Since we are in Japan, toilets are Toto bidets!

Note the Dyson hairdryer: it’s not in all airports that we see this!

The buffet

After a good shower, we decide to go to the buffet. This one will leave us a little hungry.

And unfortunately it’s too early to enjoy a good sake!

On the other hand, we are ready for a fruit juice and above all coffee!

Conclusion

We spent 3 hours in this lounge due to the delay of our flight to Osaka. This lounge allowed us to take a shower after a night flight.

Although it is visually beautiful and quiet, it is not an ideal lounge:

  • No outside brightness (which is problematic to catch a jet lag)
  • The food choices on offer are not exceptional
  • Its location BEFORE security requires you to plan overtime

However, there are no other options in this part of the Airport.
